Case files are shipped to the Embassies every other week. Next shipment is scheduled to leave 12-11 and 12-12. They always leave on a Tues/Wed unless of course they change what they have been doing consistently for the past 4 months.

Reporting we received today our case number from NVC.
We only called twice .... last friday and today.

Hi guys we've got our case number. First time I tried the english option, really nice guy on the phone. Congratulations to all the who got their numbers today. 

Thanks God that we just got our NVC number today.
I asked the staff if we can request a transfer for interview location. She said we need to submit the public inquiry form via asknvc, and I submitted it. 
The thing is they review inquiries in order. That’s why I have to wait for the reply. I don’t know if they will send my case to the Consulate before review my inquiry form? Is anyone here have same issue?

which embassy do you want to transfer is in the same country... because i have a friend from Australia that she has the wrong consulate.... because there just a consulate process the K1 and they just transfer her to the right embassy....just my two cents! 

I requested to transfer to another country where beneficiary is legal residence there. Yes! Sydney consulate is the only that  K1 interview take place at. If you put wrong Consulate but still in Australia. They will automatically send the case files to Sydney.

Many can and will have the same issue. If the inquiry does not reach the right desk before your case file leaves for your original embassy then you can request that your file be transferred. Expect a delay of 1-2 months if you have to ask the embassy to move your case file.
 
If you wish to have your immigrant/fiancée visa file transferred from one Embassy to another U.S. Embassy/Consulate, please contact the appropriate U.S. Embassy/Consulate directly in the country where you wish to apply and follow their instructions for case transfer. Please click here for the full list of all U.S. Embassies and Consulates overseas.
 
The old Embassy will need to receive a formal file transfer request from that U.S. Embassy/Consulate in the country where you wish to apply. Upon receipt of this request, they will immediately forward the file for the New Embassy to process.
 
Once you contact your New Embassy you then can discuss the transfer of your fee. Be sure to have your payment receipt available.

My advice to everyone who has their NOA2 and waiting on the NVC for a case number or to send to the embassy is to take a deep breath, sit back and relax.  We got our NOA2 on October 17, and we are still at NVC.  It didn't arrive at NVC until 11/14.  We were issued a case number 11/23 but still didn't make the shipment.  We are hoping to be on the December 11 one.  I also have seen people whose file was received, the number issued and shipped all within two weeks time.  But the quickest example is not common or the average.  Stressing out or paranoia isn't going to help you, your relationship, or make the process move any faster.  Calling isn't going to get your file moved along any quicker.  Once you have the case number, you can do what you can.  Take this time to prepare all the remaining documents you need.  Gather your financial records, ensure they have the police clearance, etc.  Click on the portal on the top left and check for what comes next or see if @Greenbaum  has posted the P3 for your embassy in the thread for your embassy or in this thread, or the October thread.  
 
Believe me, I understand how you feel.  We all just want to be with the person we love.  We all are tired of waiting and worried that something is going wrong.  But you will fare better if you put that nervous energy into getting everything prepared and ready for the next step.  This stage might take longer than you expect, but still nowhere near as long as the last stage.  And once you are at the embassy, the finish line is in site.  I say all this because I need to hear it myself.  Hopefully, it can help some of you out as well.  Good luck and God bless!

NOA2 29th November. Now to wait for the letter to arrive at my fianceés (USC) and then go from there 🙂 

Not yet... though we haven’t called since we were told it was received. I think fiance is going to try call tomorrow and just see 🤷‍♀️
