I had my oath ceremony today!! It was such a nice ceremony at the court house!

Congratulations!! It’s so easy right! Almost like an anticlimax after all these stages haha. So happy for you!! 

Hmmm I had to get an SAR too which I took with me for my interview (by the way, keeps copies for the entire process, I just had my citizenship interview and I had to show it) but they did not say I had to get consent. Did they say anything else at the time?

As mentioned above just be prepared! Revise the questions and you’ll be good!! It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Good luck and let us know how you get on!

Had my N400/I-751 interview today in Hartford CT. He said they can’t make a decision as my I-751 was pending but a few hours later my N400 status changed to Oath Ceremony to be scheduled and my I-751 says case was moved to a different jurisdiction (yesterday I had a notification to say it was being transferred. 
 

My husband came with me but they didn’t ask him to come in and just interviewed me.

October 11th! I found out a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been meaning to get on here to update! I’m changing my last name to add my husbands to it so I don’t think mine will be same day? I hope it is though!

Yes that’s correct if you’re sending via USPS. I’m in CT and sent using Fedex to the other address they give and no issues 🙂

Awesome! When did you submit the paperwork? Early May? Edit: I just checked your timeline. We have the same timeline as 5/31/2022  But different Service Center, mine is LIN (Nebraska)

Did you come on K1 - AOS - ROC?

Mine updated to fingerprints were taken 15 days ago. They reused mine from AOS

Could be, I know it’s been pretty busy. I sent mine at the weekend, will let you know if/when I get a notification

Hi I am just jumping onto this as I can’t find the answer and this is similar. So I included all my paperwork for the arrest in my AOS (originals as requested) and I will put on my I-751 that yes I have and was planning on writing that I have Inc all the originals in the AOS as requested and no changes since then (along those lines) - will this not suffice? Do I need to call the jail and get the paperwork again?

I’m so glad I saw this. I’m about to send mine so have been scrolling through other months and having a near heart attack and the amount others are sending compared to ours! We are a young couple but we don’t have loads of things to send, no kids etc so I hope we will be ok!

I guess it’s just me 😆

I do have a question - I have already submitted arrest paperwork from UK and USA with previous packages (K1 and AOS). Do I need to resubmit these again even if they already have them? I have ticked the box to say I have been arrested (no nothing serious) and I will write in the back that it is the same as previously stated - will that be ok?
