In the private sector maybe, but in GOV, that's called wishful thinking!

Unless there's a big change contemplated in 2020, US consulates in Africa may start sending ILs (through NVC, of course) towards the end of next week, for Jan interviews. Got my DC on Oct 10th and still waiting.

Congratulations to all those who have received their ILs this week! Now that MOST ILs have already been issued for Dec. Interview dates, I think the next batch of ILs will go out in early to mid Dec for Jan 2020 interviews! Good luck to all

When you get the IL it’ll change to In transit. When it’s received by the embassy it will say Ready.

Your timeline shows that your case was completed on 10/28/2019. It still too early! The process of getting an interview date can take several weeks and sometimes a few months, depending on the consulate's availability. So be patient and everything will be fine. We're all waiting for some good news (interview letter "IL") soon...GW!

When the individual is eligible to receive federal Medicaid funds it's both state and federal. Before that it's only state funds: https://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/medi-cal/eligibility/Pages/Medi-CalFAQs2014b.aspx "A lawful permanent resident (green card holder) is eligible for Medi-Cal regardless of their date of entry if they meet all other eligibility requirements. Under current Medi-Cal policy, eligible green card holders get full scope Medi-Cal in California even if they have been in the United States for less than 5 years."
