Hi everyone! While looking for the waiting times for the Green Card for Seatle (as I do everyday ) I noticed that the receipt date for date inquiry jumped from March 2018 back to December 2017.
 
Do you guys have any idea why that is? I've read in a few places where the inquiry date are changed pretty frequently, but what does it mean exactly? If people from December 2017 to March 2018 had their interviews scheduled already, why would they need to go back?
 
I was getting hopeful because they had been making really good progress recently, but at this point, I don't even think I'll get my interview before at least 2021...

Quick update - my case tracker app updated yest, for EAD it says 'card was mailed to me' and for AP it says 'case was approved'

**Update**Combo Card rec'd on 11/21. So relieved we can finally travel!!! 🤙🏽
 
The NBC processing time has now jumped to "May 10 2019." As few days ago it was on April 10 2019. Those of you in April should be able to to submit inquiries for "outside the normal processing time" now. 
 

If you got that details from the USPS informed delivery page , mine had USCIS and the exact location written on same page, so I knew it was from them.Just give it few days, it’s usually delivered even faster than the EAD notification letter.

Card was mailed to me: November 18, 2019
Card was picked by the usps: November 19, 2019
 
I tracked it and expected delivery will be this coming friday. ❤️ It's only like 4 months since I applied for AOS. Applied AED and AP but only received application when I track it. 😊😊

Just had an update on case tracker app - 'New card being produced' for EAD

Oh it’s just for EAD. I will always suggest an expedite request as it’s formal and you will most of the time get a usual “still in process” answer if you only call them.Also, depending on the state you filed from , you might be lucky to “miraculously” get an interview date for AOS instead of just an EAD you requested.No miracles in Houston,Texas though 😎

Checked our EAD status today and it says "New Card Is Being Produced" !
 
Yay : )  Been checking it every day and finally got some good news.

EAD card just arrived! ❤️ Now, we can breathe a little easier while they process his green card interview after Monday.

Just follow the suggestions you were given on the other thread and hopefully things will start turning up soon.

Hey everyone! Got our interview done, approved on the spot! Now got this status :) good luck to everyone still waiting!

Since you are specifically asked to send a job offer and you don’t have one, just don’t send anything.But it’s a good thing you submitted the request (regardless of the outcome) because the case officer would surely look at your file again base on that request. You’re also a June filer and in NY which means requesting for an expedite at this time is appropriate. I will suggest you have your mind set on the end of December to hear anything from them. And you can even get an interview scheduled (in place of the EAD) that is if you submitted your AOS together with your EAD.
NOTE: Your request even if it’s rejected wouldn’t go unnoticed.You would most likely hear from them within a month. Count on that !

Just respond with what all documents/details you have.. Let the USCIS take a call whether your case can be expedited or not. Also, I believe that if the case is not expedited it goes back to the regular processing timelines.

You do not qualify for an expedite.  Just let it be processed with all the other people in the queue, who also have bills, rent, expenses etc.

Finally some movement! Just got the new card is being produced notification for EAD/AP. Husband is going to be veeerrryyy happy

Very disappointed today. My EAD Card was sent last week but when I checked the tracking it said delivered and I had nothing in my mailbox. I called the post office and found out that the card was mailed by USCIS to the WRONG address! I went to check in at the address where they sent it and the lady swore she didn’t get anything. Called USCIS and they told me I’d have to fill out a new 765 for a replacement card. Totally unacceptable as the address error was on their end! My current one expires at the end of the month and will probably need to take a break from working, which stinks right before the holidays. Our interview is on the 19th so really hoping we get an approval soon after. Anyone from Chicago have their interview already and were approved? How long did it take for approval after interview?
 
this is such a headache, very disappointed with the morons over at USCIS. I have gotten every other piece of mail regarding my case, not sure how they messed up the address on the EAD. The most important thing up to this point, UGH.

I just had my interview and was recommended for approval. It was really simple, they asked a lot of questions about how we met, what our wedding day was like and the timeline of our relationship. Got there at 8:50 and was there for 1.5 hours mostly waiting. It's over for a while! Good luck everyone.
