GoodbyeArgentina got a reaction from TheVans in JULY 2022 FILERS
Had my Oath today!! I am so happy and thankful for all the help this forum has provided during these years.
On the day of my interview 11/3/2022 I was offered a same day Oath but I was traveling abroad on 11/19 so the recommendation was to travel first. A few days later I received my oath letter for… 11/19…. Yes, same day my trip was starting. So I wrote a letter excusing myself due to international travel. Finally my oath was rescheduled for today 2/11/2023.
ATL field office. Everything was very smooth!
I wish you all the best in this journey!!

Interview done! The oath ceremony is scheduled for January 25th!! Whew, one more week and my journey will be over!
My I-751 was approved as well, however, when i check my status, only N-400 shows updates (last one - Oath ceremony notice was mailed). Is that normal?
    Also, DaveandAnastasia, happy birthday!

I forgot my password and ended up creating a new account because they locked my old one, lol. I just added my case numbers to the new account! So really shouldn’t be a problem 😊

GoodbyeArgentina got a reaction from Lucre in How can I bring my husband to Argentina in September?
Hi!!! We traveled last year waiting our IR1/IR2. I entered the USA with ESTA (my European passport) and the kids entered with their argentinian passports and the B2 visas. I brought copies of our NOA2 just in case but we were only asked at the border how long were we staying and how much money we carried.
I entered the US in july, left in August, had my interview in September and finally moved in late September.
Be prepared to always explain the situation.

GoodbyeArgentina got a reaction from Talo in Getting car without credit score
Hi Talo!! I entered the country as well with no credit history at all. I started with a secured credit card my local bank was able to offer me. As a previous poster said, use it carefully and pay on time. Just four months later I was offered a regular credit card with a small credit line and no fees. That will help me a lot to start building my credit!
As for the car, unfortunately I had to pay cash for it.

You can go to their webpage
    http://www.dnrec.jus.gov.ar/GestionUsu/NuevaGestion.aspx?tipo=reclamo

Go to "Reclamo - Tramitacion" then go to "El tramite no fue entregado con excepcion al articulo ..."
    And then follow the steps.
They ask for a picture of your DNI and your personal information.

Hi! We traveled from Argentina while waiting for our NOA2 approval. We even got a B2 visa for one of the kid beneficiaries with the I-130 already sent. We did not have any trouble at port of entry (Miami).  No extra questions just the usual ... how long were we staying and how much money we carried.

I agree. This forum is fantastic to clarify doubts and read similar experiences, but the last word is on the official sites. I didn't file I-129F because I read soooo many times that it was obsolete. As long as the form is on the website, it's still a valid route. Lesson learned: try everything available, rely on the information on the official websites.

    Congratulations for the new approvals!!!
I'm still waiting for NOA2 from Nebraska. Mine would be an IR1 visa so the process may be a little bit different, but it's great to read your experiences at the Embassy.
Please let us know later how everything at port of entry goes!
And good luck for the rest of us that keep waiting!

I wanted to Update this thread now for posterity. In case anyone were to find themselves in this situation in the future. Once you get the expedite granted you will log into your CEAC and it will say “your petition is now at the embassy...” and the CEAC portal admin will hand it over to the embassy. Which means everything you see on that page after your expedite is the EMBASSY who is generating the content. Do whatever the page asks you to do, read the instructions, upload whatever it asks for etc. Contact the embassy by email too, to let them know you’ve done so and thats it. Good luck to everyone. My husband has his interview tomorrow and with any luck he should be with me and our kids next week. Have a lovely year!

I see September Potomac cases being approved here on Visa Journey.
But USCIS Processing Times website shows that Potomac is taking 8-10.5 months with a March 24 Receipt Date.
    How is that possible?

That's a lot of time for an expedite in the final stage! It's good news that they received everything. I hope your husband can schedule the interview soon.
