    Well, just a little update:

I sent a notarized and signed letter of intent to withdraw the petition to the embassy, and also, to the most likely POE CBP office.

Even though part of me still loves her and thanks her for the memories, I just like tying loose ends. Another reason that I want to cancel her visa is I don't want her showing up at my door and begging me to take her back. Also, her mother is here on an expired visa since like 2008 ish so yeah...

We caused each other so much emotional pain within the past month and she was not willing to keep her promises when it came to our future plans we initially mapped out before submitting the I-129F. She didn't want to compromise and respect my decisions, so seeing that this is not the way I want to live, I just stopped it before it was too late.

We were not meant to be together, and I was man enough to admit it before marriage. There was no point in continuing further and ruining both of our lives.

I should've payed more attention to red flags, and I was a moron to keep forgiving her tantrums and believing her apologies and promises to treat me better. I guess now I know why they say "Love is Blind". I have forgiven her, and I just want to forget her and move on with my life.

    Two pronged approach:
    1. contact the embassy so in case she’s not on the next plane to the US they can call her back and cancel the visa. Embassies will be closed on Monday and Tuesday next week. Write a statement and fax it to them. Or email.

    2. Figure out most likely POE she’d use to get into country and contact CBP - they also have list of contacts by POE - talk to someone and let them know you’re withdrawing I-129f and not getting married but don’t know if ex-beneficiary will attempt to (ab)use the visa. Then fax them your withdrawal statement with beneficiary info and copy of approved petition.

Yeah I will try to reach USCIS and see what they'll say. Sometimes it's best to spend extra few extra hours for a peace of mind.

Iwisheveryoneluck reacted to Alekezam in Can you submit DS-160 and Payment Before an email From Kiev Embassy?
So here's something I posted that essentially answered the questions your are asking.

You'll notice that people reference packet's a lot on here and in our case these packets are one in the same as emails as explained below:

Packet 3 - An email from the NVC to petitioner/beneficiary (whomever's email is on file)stating that they've sent off your case to the corresponding embassy.

Packet 4 - An email from the the embassy to petitioner/beneficiary (whomever's email is on file) with instructions on how to schedule an interview and all the things that are required prior to the interview.

They (NVC) send  both a digital and  physical copy of your case to the embassy. I confirmed this by asking the NVC directly.

Digital copy gets there almost instantaneously while the physical copy takes a little more than a week so make sure to schedule your interview at least two weeks out minimum from the time that the NVC sends out the email (Packet 3) as they won't conduct the interview without the physical case in front of them.

You can go ahead and submit the DS-160 and payment now, no need to wait.  All they require is the new Case # that you were given from the NVC in order to do so. Once you've done that you can also schedule the interview by calling the embassy call center. I'm pretty sure they will schedule an interview as long as they've already received the digital copy. The key here is to make sure you allow enough time for the physical copy of your case to reach the embassy. They don't appear to be very busy at the moment so setting up an appointment as early as the same week you call or even the next day is possible.

A good way to check if they've also received your actual physical case is to monitor the CEAC tracker site. Look at the date it was last touched. For example, it changes to "Ready" from "In Transit" when the embassy receives the electronic version of your case. Take note of that date because when the date changes again that almost more than likely means they got your physical package. So keep note of the dates on the CEAC Tracker site as they are good indicators.

We got the email (Packet 4) right around 8 days after our case left the NVC so I think you'll probably be getting it either today or tomorrow.

    Hope that clears things up!

Do not assume. Get her to look into her foreign passport she will be applying with and list all countries she's visited within 5 years prior to application.

"Other" would be the one you should select.  "NonImmigrant" is regarding those in the US under another type of valid visa (tourist, student, etc).

Reason known would suffice.  They have it on record, anyhow.

    1) been there...no need to put your loan. they do not do credit checks.

    2) best is a statement from a local branch manager and in a bank header letter. Put however many accounts you have with them and the length of months the account has been opened and averages

    3) 1 year might be sufficient, but best is to send last 3 years of W-2's and 1040's. 2017 is the most important one, but they might look into the history of your income, hence the prior years

    4) 6 last pay-stubs more than enough

Letter of employment is good, with company header, amount of wages, length of employment, also if it is a full time position or whatever (seasonal or else) probably full-time in your case

No need for brokerage account, you seem to make more than enough for I-134

Leave enough time between medical and interview.....get medical done now since you got NVC KEV#### already

    1. I would include the loan only because it's a line item they ask for. I put in my mortgage which is a relatively large amount.
    2. I concur with John951, go to a Bank of America branch and they can either print out your averages or your bank statements for the past 12 months with an official letter and signature on letterhead.
    3. One year is sufficient. I did research on this and they only require additional years from a sponsor if you use one.
    4. Depending on your pay frequency I'd send it 4 to 5 stubs dating back at least 4 months.  i,e. I get paid every week so I took one pay stub for each month dating back 4 months from present.

You'll definitely need to get an official letter from HR that shows your current annual salary and start date of employment.

I didn't worry too much about the loan/debt part as I have assets and savings that far exceed that amount so I can see why there might be some hesitation on your end. Maybe someone else can chime in on this but from what I can tell it's never a good idea to try to conceal information that they ask for as it could bite you in the end and I'd hate for that to happen.

Try to include as many brokerage, checking, savings, etc. accounts as you can as that will further solidify your status and negate the loan issue.

My fiancee just had her interview this morning and she was approved.

I see we are dealing with the same embassy/consulate so if you need help let me know.

You can call BofA and ask them to send you the monthly average off all your accounts for the past year on an official letter head. The letter I received also had the date I opened the accounts.
