It seems like a big hassle, I done it myself and I was only moving down the street but you are legally obliged to inform USCIS of address change within a certain amount of days of moving.
After all if you are making a permanent move why would you want to hang onto an old address, it makes no sense.... and that is the exact reason USCIS don’t like it
If you sign up for the government tracker service, which is applied to your case number not your address then that way you can see that any mail produced by USCIS needs locating.... old address or new address so to speak
there really isn’t that much connected to your case that needs doing
USCIS given address on your file
drivng licence
they are the essentials
when you consider you will have to change utilities etc so it’s not a biggy it happens the whole time and USCIS realise with changes of jobs comes changes of address

Amazing, congrats! My interview is next week but I've taken the same gamble and booked flights, going back to the UK first but POE at LAX should be May 2nd!! See you there

Hello guys,
Quick update on my case.
CEAC website shows that my visa was issued on March 19th, they told me to collect my passport on wed March 21st.
My last day at work is March 28th.
I have purchased my plane ticket from Swiss Air, POE is Chicago on March 31st. What a wonderful Easter holiday with my fiance.
Wedding planned on April 14th. Can't wait for this day to happen, it has been a long journey since I met my fiance, April 10th 2014...4 good years... All the best to everyone, K1 journey will get to end, stay positive always.

to get the K1 you don't need tax returns. just a couple of pays stubs and a declaration will do fine.
The AOS process is much more exhaustive and requires a lot more proof and a higher income.
If you start the process now you will have a whole year to file taxes and you should be good by the time you file for your green card
