I am a 319b applicant. My application took 3 months from application to Oath Taking. Did mine in DC though, but as to people I spoke before filling the same application, our process time are almost similar. There are some people that had their application finished in a span of 1 1/2 to 3 months. My application took 3 months because I choose to be interviewed later but could have been done within 1 1/2 months. There is no way to find out if there is something wrong until your Interview Day and the IO informs you. Hope this helps and husband is employed in an American company overseas as well.

I sent through my inbox, then open a service request and did a live chat to a representative. They did respond to the one I sent in my inbox but same answer as what the rep told me that my card is suspended until the biometrics is done. My data is put in the system that schedules the biometrics. Just waiting for the appointment to come in the mail or them upload the document

Well we end up going to Seattle, officer was good but still didn't listen and won't look at the marriage certificate and insist on stamping CR1. I wasn't even taken to secondary inspection so just hoping that somehow card will show the IR. If not we will send in back with I90

Hi!

My husband and I would prefer to wait until after our two year anniversary (July 6, 2020) for him to come to the US in order to get the 10 year GC. We're currently waiting for our case # from NVC.

Initially I thought you had to interview after the two years in order to qualify for the unconditional GC. From what I have been reading, it seems as though it's when the person enters the US that the decision is made if the GC is conditional or unconditional. Would really love to know which one is the actual process since this will help us decide when to submit our docs to NVC for processing.

You could fill a new ds-260 but I would say it's a minor thing so it would be enough to tell them at the interview.

I would like to know if anyone can give me tips and ideas of first time entry after immigrant visa to US? What kind of immigrant checks they do and questions ask?
Do we get a temporary green card at immigration during first time entry? So that we can travel out of US till the permanent green card doesnt come? Let me know if anyone is aware
Do we need to claim all cash and property we have back home when we enter for the first time? Is there a limit on carrying gold into the country? Cash i assume cannot be more than 10,000$ if we have more than that what is the best way to bring the money in USA?
appreciate if anyone can help wth their own personal experience

Do you mean "a month and a half? As in 1.5 months? Also, how does NVC make contact? Via email? Who's email? Beneficiary or petitioner?
