Unfortunately, some refuse to accept reality and face the music.
Both petitioners and beneficiaries alike; It  is so kind of you to have assisted the people mentioned above.
But, unfortunately, I have been witness to many of the following scenarios in my very community here in the US:
Most young beneficiary men from the MENA region have used much older American White Women for a Green Card/Passport only. Almost 90% of the husbands left as soon as they received Citizenships. They Went back and married the much younger cousin and started a chain immigration. It sickens and saddens me to have seen such use and abuse of humans and the system. I have spoken to people directly to warn them, but they were blinded by the lies and bs. I guess they knew something but refused to admit or wake up, as it was too sweet to disturb it all. The US Consulates and Embassies have done many potential Petitioners life time favors, when they deny certain beneficiaries a Visa. Red Flags are there for a reason.

I think he and some others feel we are harsh when we do not say what they want to hear
basically we have a big age difference but we fought and won
we can help if these issues are known
    it is not to judge
it is to tell the poster what steps he and spouse can take to handle the issues
all of us go thru a long process with every kind of issue you can possibly imagine
not easy but they are solutions to every problem unless fraud or crimianal
so,  to the  OP,   don't get insulted
    don't argue here with VJ
just tell honest and we can truefully help
that is what you posted for
BTW  i helped 3 USC (2 for Moroccans and 1 from Ghana answer the NOIR) for husbands and all  3 men are now here

I only have a tourist visa and I was able to file DCF. All I had was our apartment lease and joint bank account. The lease was notarized, not sure if it needed to be or not though.

You'll probably need more detailed advice on filing a DCF application from India. I don't have any direct experience with this but one thing I've heard is that a US citizen filer needs some type of residency status in the country from which he/she is filing from. It's not clear that your US citizen fiancee will qualify as a resident with just a tourist visa. That's where you might concentrate further research activities. Good luck.

The child would be a USC and could petition for a parent when they turn 21. This assumes the parent category still exists in 21 years...which may or may not be the case (it is being discussed to be on the chopping block). If you don't fully fund the bill for the birth of the child, you're going to have a bad time in the future. CBP is likely to deny entry if they believe you are coming to the US to give birth, unless you can show that 1) you intend to leave, 2) you already have plans and payment worked out with the provider. Note that the cost can be tens of thousands USD for a no-complications birth, and hundreds of thousands or more if there are issues.

But no, you don't get anything for having a child of either gender in the US. Other than a large bill, which I'm hoping you paid in full.

This is the wording that you need to focus on. Why is he NOT ELIGIBLE? If there's something about the K1 visa that makes him not eligible, it's possible that the same reason could make him not eligible for a CR1 visa either.
You need to figure out what makes him not eligible - if it was misrepresentation (leaving out the previous visa attempt - you said he indicated you were a "friend" on a previous visa attempt - maybe they think he was lying) or if it is some other reason he is not eligible.

You have to figure out a way around that before you get married and apply CR1. How do you feel about just moving to Ghana?

Then your hope for a K-1 is gone.  The petition will be returned to USCIS, and it will expire there.  There will no appeal, no additional interview.  You now have 2 options:

    1.  Move to your fiance's country and live.
    2.  Marry your fiance in his country (or another country other than the US), and file for a CR-1.

However, not even a CR-1 is guaranteed to get him into the US if he is inadmissible for some reason of which you are not aware.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of such news.....

I suggest you use the advanced search tool, type it "K1 Visa denied" and read the dozens of posts of others who have been denied.  There is a plethora of information as to why visas could possibly be denied in those prior posts. Pay particular attention to others who have been denied from your same consulate.   Red flags, prior denials, things you didn't know, interview questions answered incorrectly, etc, etc.
Take time go over the interview in great detail with your fiance.

I think there is more to this than you might know.  Did your fiance receive any paperwork after?  Did the officer say anything?  Are there red flags like age difference, culture difference, language barriers, former marriages?

If you got married and still with through the K1 process, it will open up a world of trouble. You would be basically lying to the government that you are single. Your K1 case would get denied and your fiance would be faced with a permanent ban from the US for misrepresentation.

Sadly, there is no 'changing the visa'.  There is only cancelling the K1 visa and re-filing, with new fees and wait times,  for the spousal visa.

    Good luck

Just want to share with everyone that my family's (husband and two kids) application for immigrant visa was approved yesterday!

Surprisingly, they did not ask too much about my proof of domicile.

Thank you to everyone in this forum for all your help! Especially to @Haltom Family, @joanamber, @Laleh, @ysai and everyone else who took their time to answer all my inquiries.

Your suggestions really helped us with our application process! Again, thank you!

You do realize that many people who dislike Trump smoke a lot of weed, are the least uptight people you'd ever meet, and are very non-PC in their dialogue, right?

Well I am going through graduate school as well and hopefully I will graduate this December. I wish I could get Trumps name on my diploma.

I would rather take someone that talks like I would when around other men rather than someone who is so uptight and PC that you can't have any fun and have to be respectful the whole time.

AnonIndia reacted to KazuriSana in Question about DACA Amnesty
When the 'grab by the p....' stuff broke, I was sitting with my 3 children -- a daughter, and two sons. We all stared at the TV in disbelief. My daughter reminded us of the 'she had blood coming from her wherever...' and also about the mocking of the disabled reporter. My 8-year-old son asked why the man wants to be president but has a dirty mind; and my 2-year-old just stared at everybody else's ashen faces.

I wasn't going to bring home a degree to my children signed by such a person. And, oh, yes, I am now in graduate school in the same institution, projected to graduate before the 45th completes his first term. Already know will request that my degree is left unsigned at the Patron's spot.

Actually, this is not Trump's America (Or Obama's or Washington's or Lincoln's). That is why we do not pledge allegiance to the president but to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands.

AnonIndia reacted to KazuriSana in Question about DACA Amnesty
Go back to my first post. I said nothing about wanting the signature of the 44th. I knew my degree would be signed by the 45th, and if I wanted the 44th, specifically, I would have planned my undergraduate career 'better' to graduate before the 44th left office. My plans changed AFTER the elections, and I either had to suspend my education, or graduate in December.

This guy/gal would try so hard to avoid a signature of the president on his/her diploma yet has no problem living in Trump’s America.

One way way ticket to Kenya seems to ease all the difficult feelings. Just saying.
