Ok, I'll put my 2 cents in, even though you didn't ask.  The U.S. is a great place, don't get me wrong, but it's not perfect.  Generally the things that most sane people want to see are:
 
1.  Universal Healthcare.  I've traveled all over the world, and we are lacking.  
2.  Reformed immigration process.  It's a ridiculously long and tiresome process.  
3.  Restricted access to firearms that easily permit mass shootings.
4.  A tax system that prevents a handful of people from controlling the vast majority of wealth, while others struggle and starve.
5.  A voting system that allows each person to have an equal voice, not geographical regions.  
 
So, AM268 say whatever you feel like, but don't incite violence, or threaten people.   Get your green card, and become a citizen, then you will have the opportunity to vote and change laws and leaders like every other citizen. 
 
The good news is that these are hot topics right now and will likely have some change within the next decade.

I complain all the time about the things mentioned in @Brian & Hue post.  I just don't do it on social media. 
The US government can't just kick you out because they don't like your voiced opinion.  But they can for joining certain militant or oppositional groups, for protesting in an illegal way, or doing something that would be considered an act of terrorism.  Be intelligent. Pay attention.

Called this morning.. NVC finally received our application.  No case number yet, but at least we got news it moved somewhere! 😄

Your statement doesn't even make any sense.
 
The whole point of this county is that it's a democracy and we don't have to like certain things the way they are, we have the freedom to express our opinions and VOTE to make changes.  This country is always changing due to people exercising their right to vote and changes get made, good or bad. 
 
So according to you, all US citizens, even YOU (if you are), shouldn't vote for anything to change, because you like everything the way it is year after year.  If YOU vote to change something, that means you don't like something so much, and according to your statement, you should feel free to go home (if you're not the USC), or live in another country ,(if you are the USC). 
 
And your statement "if you do not like it so much then feel free to go home" is very intolerant and sounds typical of someone who would say something like "You are just being fed a line of bs by our Leftist overlords."   America IS an immigrant's new home.

If I had to do it over again, I would have hired a lawyer from the start, as I made a couple mistakes.
 
You've paid for a lawyer, follow that lawyer's advice for the visa process. Bringing in an 4th party isn't going to help.

Just fyi, I got my case number today from the NVC.  The woman on the phone was super sweet, and told me that it actually arrived on the 6th, and is now processed.  My NOA2 date was January 16th.
