Your wife can qualify for citizenship after meeting one out of two conditions.
    - Being married to US citizen for 3 years (and living as LPR in US for at least 3 years)
    - Being LPR and living in US for 5 years.

So for your situation, you can submit N400 for your wife 3 years after her arrival in US minus 90 days.

My wife will hit 5 years of living in US soon, but because we did K1 and had all the AOS - ROC her LPR counts as the time when she got her 2 year GC. It's silly but nothing we can do about it.

Strongly recommending waiting until your anniversary. I know it's a headache but it will be well worth it to stay extra 2 months at home.

If your wife's visa is good after 10-02 then I would also suggest entering US after your anniversary date. We are 13 months in and got 48 months extension letter...
Thankfully my wife's citizenship date was coming up so we've applied and hopefully we will finish this silly waiting game soon.

Dude. HSBC's headquarters is in the UK. The main holding company is also incorporated there. Source: https://www.hsbc.com/investors/investing-in-hsbc/group-structure

It's called HSBC because it started in Hong Kong. But it was founded by a Scotsman: https://www.hsbc.com/who-we-are/our-history/history-timeline

Just because it's got that name, don't assume it's a Chinese bank.

Back on topic, I'm another of those people who was able to open a US bank account without being physically present in the US. No SSN or ITIN at the time, either. But it was because my fiance had a good relationship with his personal banker at his regional bank. I communicated with the banker through secure mail and opened the bank account remotely.

What's the S stands for then?
They left US because they were in business of money laundering. Paid penalties in billions of dollars and people stopped using them here.
The only thing for them linking them with UK is that they have office there. You've got lots to learn.

    Hi,

Virgin Atlantic allows cats and dogs in the cabin (need to put them in the carrier under the seat).
Aer Lingus accepts cats and dogs on their flights but they fly in the cargo hold.
You could also consider British Airways with a stop, as they allow cats and dogs up to 6kg in the cabin.

I don't know the fees for the carriers above, but Lufthansa or United charges $250 each way to take yorkee dog from US to Europe (or back to US) in the cabin under the seat. There is a limit of 1 animal per cabin.
For example; only 1 dog or cat can be in economy class, 1 dog or car in economy plus, and 1 dog or cat in business class.

I suggest you start the application now, that way you get an idea of what it looks like as compared to the paper form. That way you will also see what they ask for, and what documents you need to upload. There is zero rush, like previous posters have said - you have 30 days before your application gets deleted, and if you need more time you just change something little and save, then you get 30 new days (so technically you can do this for however long you want, just make sure to "update" it every 29th day or so). So start now, fill everything out and by the end of it you will get to the upload section.

As others have said, you can start the application and keep working on it pretty much indefinitely as long as you update it at least every 30 days. The system will tell you what supporting evidence to upload, so just follow that guideline, nothing more, nothing less.

Same thing with us. BKK to ICN with Korean Air. Employee didn't know the rules, I showed here copy of the letter (we had original too). She called supervisor then another supervisor and that was it. When landing in US, CBP officer asked for original letter. Showed it to him and that was it.

I got my citizenship last year in October through Marriage.  Last month i.got promoted and now make double what my wife makes.
Unfortunately, my wife decided to leave her job and for the last few weeks, I have been paying all the bills and this is too much. I have complained but to no avail.
Am grateful to my wife because I got citizenship through her but the truth is I cannot continue paying the bills 100%.
Things are not looking good and am thinking of divorce.  This is a hard decision for me and I know she may feel that I used her for papers but that is not true. If she decide to get a job and help with the bills am ready to stay in the Marriage.
My heart is bleeding as am writing this. We bought a house and bought 2 vehicles together.

Things are not looking good. Should we be divorce,  I don't wanna around . Am a stronger believer in marriages.
Should our marriage end, I wanna look for a wife to continue my life. However am not sure where on earth my next wife might come from.

My question is  should my new wife be out of status or outside of the US, am I eligible to petition for her since am already a US citizen without any issue?

If your mother in law is now in Hungary/Poland/Czech/Romania ask her to do the test there. There are a lot of places where she can get it done.
I actually did that while travelling to Europe last year. For regular blood test I've paid about $5. Did the test 7am and had the results by 2pm.
Also I did the food allergy test. Tested for 100 common foods and paid for it about $50. The food allergy test results took 3 days and they've sent them to me via email. In US the same test starting at $350 and insurance is not covering it.

I may add Korean Air as a good airline for extension letters
My wife's GC expired in September of this year and we've travel to Thailand in November.
On the way back Korean Air check in staff looked at the letter and we had no problems getting boarding passes for our flights back home in US.
Upon arrival at Dulles airport, CBP checked our passports and the agent requested the extension letter (I forgot to give it to him).
I showed him the original letter (I've made few copies before the trip as well, just in case).

I wish gov would change AOS from B to take minimum 4 to 5 years. People wouldn't do this anymore and would do the proper way.
It wouldn't clog the pipes where people applied and followed the rules.
