you won’t believe this.. we got there late!! He thought it  was at 10a and it was actually at 9a! The fear!! BUT, they let him in. I was not allowed to go in. He brought all his documents and the officer did not look at any. He was given the test. No interview. He only had to answer 6 questions, write 1 sentence that had the word California in it and read 1 sentence. He was done in 30 minutes and given a piece of paper that said he passed. Everything online changed immediately. He is now ready for the oath ceremony which we heard have long delays. One of our friends has been waiting to take the oath since February.. 

We applied Jan 27th. Interview was yesterday 6/20. We are approved! Now waiting on the oath.

Hi, how did your interview go today... Would appreciate you sharing how it went. I filed feb 2nd and yet to received a letter for my interview. I have a pending i751 too 

My GC was approved with no interview. Received in the mail last week. Haven't applied for citizenship yet.

It’s just a terrible process!!! 

Hubby’s citizenship interview is 6/20. We heard of one couple who is approved and has been waiting to take the oath since February😳 Good luck everyone

You won't be qualified by NVC or even reach the interview without submitting tax documentation.

Per the I-864 you submitted, if you quietly accept his immigration to try to hide your feelings from both families, then you will be 1) miserable and 2) financially liable for your husband and doubly miserable and 3) just...no.

Hi, everyone. Just an update about my situation. I passed my combo interview and took my oath ceremony last week. So finally my USCIS journey is over. I know lots of you told me to wait patiently but I did push every way I can and somehow magic happened. I got my interview letter very soon after I pushed my senator office a couple times and finished my interview. Now I am an American citizen.  If you don’t care waiting, it is fine. But I rather to get it finished soon than later especially I have waited a long time. Good luck to everyone!

My husband applied for  ROC on 10/21/2021. Today he got a message that card is being produced. He applied for N-400 on 1/27/2023 and the last message he received is that it is being actively reviewed!! Almost done!!

Quick progress update (ROC was finally approved last week!):
10/4/2021 - Filed I-751 - assigned to LIN (Nebraska) Oct 2021 - fingerprints reused 10/1/2022 -  Filed N400  12/9/2022 - N400 Interview Scheduled (Chicago FO) 1/23/2023 - Combo interview at Chicago FO. I-751 part was relatively easy (wife was required to attend as well), officer asked for proof of jointly filed taxes for 2021 and nothing else. Passed the civics test but was given a notice for N-400 that case must be reviewed (apparently they had to request I-751 case files to be transferred from Nebraska). 3/10/2023 - I-751 case transferred to NBC 4/6/2023 - I-751 Approved 4/10/2023 - N-400 recommended for approval and placed in oath line There seems to be some issue with ROC cases in Nebraska that delays approvals post N-400 interview. I was preparing to get congressman and/or lawyers involved as the 120 day deadline since N-400 interview was approaching but glad that didn't have to go down that route.
 
Best of luck to everyone else - looks like October 2021 filers (even with Nebraska SC) are now seeing some movement.

Update: Online status still says the same but got an approval letter in the mail yesterday for I-751. They said they won't send green card as N-400 is approved as well. Thank you everyone for the help.

Omg! I sent an email to my Senator and asked why people behind me already got their interview. And today I got my interview scheduled! I can’t believe it!!!

Yep.  They can collect your I-751 fee, then just sit on it until you pay again for the N-400.  Two fees for a single interview.  What a racket.  At least, we are done with USCIS forever.  No more address change reporting, no more trying to get an infopass appointment, no more keeping up with extension letters, no gathering evidence, and my wife can help vote the bums out of office!!
