    Hi Fellow Indonesian,

Q15:I believe the second one, because that's the latest /most recent.
Q18: DA on I-94 means “Advance Parole granted by District Office under Section 212(d)(5) of the I&N Act.”

1.I believe Japan doesn't allow dual citizenship, but you have a U.S. passport to prove your U.S. citizenship to file I-130, so I think it should be fine.
    2. Yes, since you will marry outside the US, follow this guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1
    3. Medical Exam cost + $1200 [USCIS Filing Fee: $535; NVC Fee: $445; USCIS Immigrant Fee: $220]

In case you don't make enough above the poverty guideline, you will need a U.S. citizen/LPR co-sponsor.

    An update for me:
First I apologize for not giving a review about my experience interviewing at the Cleveland office.  It has been a very busy week for me work wise.  Anyways, here is my experience:
My interview was at the Cleveland office Friday the 2nd at 10:30 in the morning.  We arrived there about 15 minutes earlier.  We checked in (finger print scan and a picture) and were told to wait for an officer to call us.
45 minutes later, an officer called my last name and asked us to follow him.  He introduced himself by last name "Arasim" and apologized for the delay as he was stuck with someone else before us.  He made it funny though.  He asked us to rise our hands and we swear to say the truth after he informed us that we will be video taped.  After that, he said that he will start with me first. He went through I-480 questions making sure that everything is correct, but I felt he was testing my answers on some the questions like where I work (worked) and entry dates.  With humor, he asked the mandatory questions that are in the end of the i-480 like crime questions, illegals, weapons,..etc.  Of course all are NO!!!! And then asked my wife's date of birth, place of birth, phone number and where we live now.  He made a funny comment when he learned that my wife is from MI state, he said that it is going to be a tough interview when her turns arrives.  He asked me for my passport, my EAD from OPT, I-90 and my license. He also asked my wife for her ID. Then he turned to her and asked her a few I-480 questions, but nothing about me.  He later turn to me and asked questions about my plans prior meeting my wife.  He asked for my I-20s and lease documents.  He did not want the copy of the lease, so he took the original.  He asked my EAD approval letter, but I gave the copy.  He took bank statement, credit card statement of both names, health insurance, phone bill both names, electricity bill, he did not want rent insurance.  He asked about car registration, but our cars are not shared between us.  He did not care.  He kept asking me over and over and over about whether I entered illegally and did I ever worked illegally.  Did a CPB officer stamp my passport at the port of entry and did I ever tried to fake anything.  He did not ask for her birth certificate , he did not want to see her taxes, or anything from her, he focused on me the entire interview.  It took about 30 minutes to 35.  Then asked about proposal and where we got married.  Who attended the wedding and did both families agreed to the wedding.  Intermediately after that question, he asked her for her mom and dad's phone number.  He asked if we have anything else to add? My wife gave him our album and he smiled and said "SURE LET'S SEE SOME PHOTOS" He took his time and looked through all individually.  We noticed he looked a photos with families longer.  Then he said I cannot approve the case now as I have a lot of documents to review and I have to verify everything.  He explained the conditional green card process and that we have to renew within 90 days prior to the expiration.  He said that I can apply for citizenship after the 3rd year.  He asked if we have any questions, we asked him when should we expect to hear from him, he said about a month from now.  He apologized again, shook my hand, and walked us to door.  Two hours later, he called her mom who was with us and asked her about me and my work type and if they like me.  He asked if she met my family and if she is with us in Cleveland.  She answered all correctly and then thanked her and hangup.  (phone number was 216-000-0000).  Today I received texts and emails that CASE WAS APPROVED YESTERDAY!!!

For those who rely on case status, my case status (except for the i-485 now) still saying case was received.  Even after the bio-metrics, it never changed.  It did not change for interview scheduled either.

That's all I have for now guys.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I am sorry if there are any mistakes, I am writing fast and without proof-reading.

Yes, people receive RFE for I 693, but it's advisable to bring during interview to avoid expiration date. It won't delay EAD/Green card processing.

Yes, definitely confirm with the lawyer. It's really nice to have a lawyer to ask.

I think you should qualify for cap gap extension, which if chosen in the lottery, will let you work thru September 30 and H-1B will be valid on October 1.

"Once a timely filing requesting a change of status to H-1B on October 1 has been made, the automatic Cap-Gap extension will begin and will continue until the H-1B petition adjudication process has been completed. If the student’s H-1B petition is selected and approved, the student’s extension of status will continue through September 30"

Unfortunately, it's not possible to extend your OPT. Hopefully, they pass the bill to increase the number of H1B visa and you have better chance, because of your master degree.

Another way to stay is for you to enroll in school / start another degree, but this will not let you work off-campus.

On a different note, do you happen to have a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident significant other?

They’ve only visited me once for a week during the 7 years I’ve been living here, and that’s to attend my wedding reception lol...

It might be better to wait in sending the I-693, because of the expiration date. You can bring it to the interview instead to avoid the risk of it being expired.

You guys are all set then! Just make sure to sign everything that need to be signed.
I still highly suggest the I-131, since it's free to apply and you just never know what will come up .. Maybe you'll win a trip to Europe or something lol

To add to @logisticamente advice, each ASC office is different and can change. If you want some peace of mind, you can read other VJ members experiences with early biometrics walk-in below (your ASC office might or might not be on this list): http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/367977-thinking-of-early-walk-in-for-biometrics/

    Guys!
Had my interview today. Went really well. The office was on time, the officer was a sweet lady with an accent similar to mine
She confirmed all the information I put in I-485 and all the security questions. Then asked me about my previous visas, how we met, who was at the wedding. Asked my husband how he decided to propose and if he’s met my family.
Asked us if we have any more photos but unfortunately we forgot them at home this morning. She said it’s not a problem.
Finally, she asked to see my medical and confirmed that everything looks good and they don’t need anything else from us. She recommended us for approval and explained the ROC process.
Overall was super easy and painless. I love Cleveland ❤️

ColoradoBeauty reacted to Wuozopo in Inexpensive I-693 doctor in Illinois recommendations?
It is very possible that a civil surgeon will accept this information. All it does useful is shows you had DIPTHERIA/TETANUS/PERTUSSIS in 1993 so will need a top up of Td instead of Tdap (because you have the P covered for a lifetime.)

    For immigration you will need:
    MMR
    Td
    Flu
Varicella (or tell them you had Chickenpox to get it waived)

You may get shots anywhere if you find a place cheaper than the civil surgeons office. Try drug stores or the county health department. Get written documentation to take to you medical exam. You need a full exam with blood work and TB skin test. Get on the phone and call every civil surgeon office within your area and ask "how much do you charge for a full immigration medical?". Then ask "how much is a Td shot...MMR shot...Flu shot?"  It's a bunch of calling you need to do if your intent is to do price comparisons and save money.

Had you gotten a visa, you would have had to travel to London to a private clinic and pay £300 for an exam. Some get shots at their GP free on NHS and some GPs charge for them since they are for immigration. You skipped the visa, but you don't get to skip the medical part of immigration. Good luck finding a cheaper  civil surgeon.

ColoradoBeauty got a reaction from Wuozopo in How to address Divorce, name change and Criminal History of petitioner for I-129F Petition
I have never done I-129F, however here is what I did for my Adjustment of Status/Green Card application.
    1. I wrote NONE on Other Names Used field in the form, but you can always leave it blank.
    2. By answering "No" on Item number 34 on page 6, you indicate the beneficiary has never been previously married. Similarly, by answering "Single" on Item number 23 on page 3, you indicate you have never been previously married. No other documentation needed if you both never been married before.
    3. As long as you answer "No" to all items in Part 3 (Criminal Information), then you indicated you never have any criminal history. For beneficiary, you can include a police report to show beneficiary never have any criminal history.

    4. Yes, Bank drafts, cashier's checks, certified checks, personal checks (See Check Instructions below), and money orders must be drawn on U.S. financial institutions and payable in U.S. funds.
    5. We included a copy of the biographical/first page of petitioner's passport as well, but Birth Certificate should be sufficient.

To summarize, only if you answer "yes"/"Divorced" for the particular questions that you'll need to provide additional documentations.
In other words, just tick the boxes in the I-129F petition and leave it at that. Good Luck!

To OP: Just to clarify you will need to have either had Chickenpox as a child or the Varicella vaccine. If you didnt have it as a child or the vaccine then you will need that vaccine as well.

The vaccine is newer in the US so it is a little more confusing because people like me actually had Chickenpox as a child but the next generation received the vaccination.

I didn't have any immunization proof. So, I had to get MMR, Tdap, Flu shot, and Varicella. However, CS only asked if I've had chicken pox and I said yes, then I got to skip varicella
The required tests are TB, syphilis, and gonorrhea. I was recommended the blood test for TB and still came back false positive due to BCG. My x-ray came back negative.
