As for the pictures for evidence, I inserted two pictures per page on a word document and put a caption that mentions the date, place, any special event it was, and any other people besides us.

That's it guys! Thank you in advance. I put this together with the help of VJ and of course, reading the instructions from the USCIS website.

Cover letter looks great!

Is beneficiary's birth certificate in English? Otherwise, you'll need to include a certified English Translation for it.

You might want to consider applying for I-131, so you can travel outside the US while waiting for your green card.

I'm not sure what your husband's reason for no tax return is, but I just want to make sure you are aware that he has to make above 125% poverty guideline to sponsor you without obtaining a co-sponsor.

Does he have home/renter/auto insurances? He could try to add you there just for additional evidence.

Thanks @ColoradoBeauty

Yes, all documents are in English and no translations are needed.

He doesn't have previous year's tax return because he was a college student and he just started working 6 months ago, making 3 times above the 125%. That's ok, right?

As for the I131, we didn't bother because we aren't planning for any international trips any time soon. :)

Yes, as long as his current job brings in 125%, then you guys don't need co-sponsor.

You guys are all set then! Just make sure to sign everything that need to be signed.

I still highly suggest the I-131, since it's free to apply and you just never know what will come up .. Maybe you'll win a trip to Europe or something lol

Hi isa_bella!

Thank you for your list of documents. It helped me put together my AOS package (I am the Beneficiary on a valid J-1 Visa) based on marriage with my wife (U.S. Citizen). I am not sure it is nescessary, but just in case I also put the employment letter of my current employer and some paystubs on the list in the i-485 application.

And I agree with ColoradoBeauty that a I-131 can be convenient (we filed that).

what is a "certified English translation" @ColoradoBeauty? Does notarized translation not work?

Not sure what the difference between notarized and certified, but mine has a stamp indicating it was translated by an authorized and sworn translator.
