I really hope you are right. That answer just shot my plans down lol I really wish there was something we or they or someone could do to speed things up for us, even if I had to pay more to hire more man power.

I'm an August 25th filer with Potomac. Still no response to my I-130. They're definitely not in a hurry.

We were in this situation too. We were on hangout almost every day. She left me in november 2016 from The Netherlands after we married in October. I could go to the US
 December 14. After my final interview November 2018. We knew to be patient and motivated by saying stay in the day, take it one day at a time. And when we clicked off, we always said: One day closer to be together again. We'll get there!

Yeah it's becoming more and more difficult in this climate to bring loved ones to the U.S. and there's not much any of us can do. I've seen people post about reaching out to their Congresspeople to no avail. It is tough. My marriage is suffering from the distance as well.

It is all wrong from the get go. Indirectly, you are saying: It is ok to get here on a tourist Visa, and NOT a K1 nor a CR1, like EVERY other soul, skip all lines and adjust status. Please do not give me the "Oh, she did not get here with the intention to marry" We don't know that and that is illegal. What you are suggesting is breaking the Law. And that defeats the very existence of the USCIS, VAC, Consulates and  all that is between. 
Let s say she manages to fork up the money, how is she going to sponsor/support the 2 children and the wife? She could hardly maintain a rental. In addition, I am not sure what happen there that the landlord would go to the extreme of texting and threatening. Something very fishy here. Good night.

You mean to say that the illegal parent is balancing the family? 
The one who the mother picked up and moved the kids to Mexico for?
 

No one has mentioned two little kids who are in the mix here.
They were moved to Mexico and back, and out to who knows.
They are under financial stress, while the OP is preoccupied with the wife.

? Of course it was wrong of her to enter on torusit visa with immigrant intent but can't really control that anymore, can we? Filing AOS right now is fine. If they will have any issues on the interview it might be just because of the illegal work but I don't think it's a ground for denile.

I feel it's NEVER a good time to be in the country illegally, and working without a SSN when they aren't suppose to be working is the problem that has fueled this debate for a long time. File the AOS and please try to follow the immigration rules.
 
My immediate response to your post is that your asking for sympathy, which I don't feel any because you are now afraid of something you've known about ever since she got into her overstay and has been working illegally. Now that the fire is close to you your crying for help.

Also, It pretty much depends on the origin of the Beneficiary. They might be put on AP or handed a DS 5535, which translate to months to a year of waiting after "Interview". 

Great point! One must out them in situations and create scenarios to observe reactions, and then conclude for themselves.
