So today's update.
I went to the Social Security office to ask what's going on with my SSN, because when I applied for the EAD, I marked on the I-765 Form that I'm also applying for the SSN, so basically when my EAD got approved, the USCIS should have been let the Social Security know that I need the SSN.
I gave my EAD approval letter to the lady at the SS Office and she checked on the computer what's going on. She said there is no any sign that I've ever applied for an SSN. She said it happens a lot of times that the USCIS don't let them know about it. She said I can't apply for the SSN until I get the EAD card. When I'll have it, I need to go back with my Card, my original Birth Certificate and my approval letter and approximately 2 weeks I'll get my EAD.
With my deeply angry feelings I went to the USPS again to ask the post office manager again to check with the tracking number where the heck is my EAD? The manager said he has no idea where is it and let me file a claim about my lost First Priority letter.
Also talked to the USCIS, they said I can't apply for a new card for 120 day because I just got approved recently. 
This is such a great process... Thank you USCIS and USPS for your great customer service for that huge amount that I've paid for this !!!!

They did actually call me back with absolutely no useful information. Wait. Maybe something will happen in 30 days. Maybe it won't. 

‭(800) 375-5283‬ press 1-1-2-2 then when they answer say you want to put in a service ticket for being outside processing times and ask to speak to a tier two rep. They always push back. You do the same!

When I came back in on emergency AP the  single piece of paper was definitely the most important thing. I had my three 797s (AOS, AP, EAD) with me and the agent flipped through them but they seemed more like “oh cool this chick is organized” versus mandatory. 
 
I keep a copy of everything on a google drive just in case as well.

It's very common. I worked for years for an e-commerce site and we shipped a lot by USPS. Things get lost all the time -- the scan means nothing. If you watched a package go from end to end you would see why...it's actually kind of amazing anything gets to where it's supposed to go! I would say that I have spoken to hundreds if not thousands of people over ten years who had things lost by USPS and about 99% of them turn up. Unfortunately this is not an easy one to be patient about, but I bet it appears soon.

Wasn’t expecting that for another 6 months at least! In total shock! I guess no EAD!?! And that means he cannot take the job offer he has as this will still take a few months to be completed, right? But at least there is SOMETHING!!! After almost 200 days at least it’s moving!
 

So apparently, the USPS lost my EAD. I went to the post office this morning and the post office manager said the mailman scanned it yesterday as delivered. I told the manager that I can clearly see that on the Informed delivery app, however it is not delivered otherwise I wouldn't be here and complaining. The manager said he can't do anything because it is scanned as delivered. (I'm saying curse words but I can't write them in here, so just imagine).
So I called USCIS they said wait a few days before I request a lost card inquiry... Also, no sign of SSN yet. Great.

We had our interview and out in 15 minutes just questions from the paperwork and asked how we meet he hardly ask for many documents we approved 😎

Woke up to an email about a case status update... our AOS petition is ready for interview!! Finally some light at the end of a long tunnel! No update on EAD or AP, so this is a total surprise.

But at least there is SOMETHING!!! After almost 200 days at least it’s moving!
 

How are you guys getting your service requests processed so quickly? I passed the 60 days after RFE recently, and am 21~ days into waiting for the service request. Interestingly when my lawyer sent it, it said Aug 22nd for a response, but on the phone they said wait for Aug 30th. Might try phoning them tomorrow anyway cause whilst I'm happy for you March guys, it's ridiculous that I applied 5~ months earlier and I'm still having to wait.

My minimum is 20.5 months 🤮😂
My card just arrived!! It was due Friday but randomly turned up today!!

We completed our interview last july 16 and received verbal approval. Green card can’t be issued due to incorrect date of birth. Still waiting for the 2nd background check to be completed. Last night ead status changed to new card is being produce 😂

From H&M I’m assuming!? 

My card has been picked up by USCIS and due to be delivered Friday - I have signed up for a job fair next week and bought 2 new interview dresses today haha 😃

Great news!.   Gives hope to the rest of us.

Hi everyone! I've been away from the forums for a while since there's been no news, but yesterday we got an email (and much later, a text message) from USCIS saying that the card for our EAD is being produced! Woohoo!
 
All in all, our EAD took 5 months and 9 days (162 days) to get produced. It sounds like several others in here are receiving theirs too so it looks like they've gotten to our batch!
