As you just posted, there are multiple definitions. I know why you guys are doing that and as I said it's technically correct, but considered poor form to mix them. If a swarm of killer bees crosses the border, we might call it an invasion of unwanted insects, but most people wouldn't say the country has just been invaded.

People thinking like you have the right to vote for people that will represent them. I think differently and I donate to politicians I agree with and, when I get my US citizenship, I'm planning on voting for politicians that support immigrants, both legal and illegal.

Affidavits are not required...they are weak evidence....they are too easy to forge.  We didn't include any.

Only allowing people with family in the US and a very limited work visa program and diversity visa lottery program is unjust. Also, I don't consider immigration laws moral laws at all. Even if the US system was just, I still wouldn't have a problem with people not sticking to letter of the law because it's just red tape. I myself wouldn't take the risk of illegal immigration but I have no ill will towards those who do. 

By definition, as it pertains to international borders, an invasion consists of an armed force crossing a recognized border. If you are talking about a large incursion into an area by an unwanted group, like Trump supporters invading the capitol, then sure that definition applies. However it is considered poor form to mix both definitions.

The current policy is that those that haven't been interviewed in the US (such as those coming on a spousal visa) get a ROC interview no matter what and those that have already been interviewed by USCIS get an interview waiver. Then some people with unconvincing evidence and some unlucky folks get an interview as well. The policy used to be that very few cases get a ROC interview. Who knows what the policy is going to be like when your time comes. 

Most people assume if you have an AOS interview, then you may not have an ROC interview.  Back when my wife was doing AOS, there were a lot of interview waivers, so more than likely those folks had an ROC interview assuming they were required to file it. My wife did have a sort of ROC interview, it was at the beginning of her N400 interview, and lasted less than 5 minutes.

The catch is, some people that have been interviewed in the US before, were going to be approved without an interview, but filing for citizenship sometimes makes USCIS combine both applications and then the ROC case is moved to an interview path. Depending on the local office, this might speed up the process or slow it down (people in Seattle have been waiting for 2 years for an interview). But I've seen cases of people that have filed for citizenship and didn't have the two cases combined and they got their ROC approved while waiting for citizenship to process.

Making it worse? Seriously? This nightmare is only happening because Trump didn't give a (removed) about COVID-19 or immigrants from the beginning. Biden now has a HUGE work to be done, and his priority definently has to be saving american lives.
