So sorry you had to go through all of that! May I ask how you know when your green card was mailed out? I’ve been in America for a month and haven’t heard a word.

Luckily we spoke with USCIS and they gave us an appointment with a field office and my husband was able to get his visa stamped and extended for a year until all this blows over, the I90 is approved, and he gets his green card....let’s pray that he gets it before Feb. 2022

@RochelleRJ - So sorry you are going through this. I'm still looking at all the alternatives. I've written to all the senators in the state and also Pres. Biden. So I'm hoping I get someone to knock at USPS's door. I've exhausted all possible avenues.

Trust me I know how you feel my husband and I are going through the same thing....they mailed it out May 21 2020....and the mail lady stated it didn’t have the apt number so she claimed she returned it...Called USCIS numerous of times they never received it as undeliverable....opened up a case and was told t was returned...we are still to this day waiting in the approval for the I90 we filed back in June 2020...almost a freaking year and we still waiting...this ####### makes no since at all...I still say it’s at the post office either in the lady’s mail truck or inside then post office collecting dust somewhere and only she knows were it is...with her bad attitude

In my experience this should end well.  The embassy gave my fiance a 221g and requested me to come to the embassy for more proof as well.  I made arrangements and flew to Jamaica 3 weeks later.  Our interview was at 7am on a Monday morning and we were in and out of the embassy by 8am.  I truly feel if the embassy wanted to deny your visa they would have given your passport back and denied you and not make your wife waste her time to fly out.  Once I reached the embassy I realized that they really just wanted to see me and make sure this is real.  It was obvious and his visa was quickly approved and he picked it up from the embassy 2 days later so he could fly home with me.  Good luck to you!

You don't need to change address since you just filed I-130. The new address will needed at NVC steps, but not at the moment.

I know it is best to be honest especially when it comes to the government, but I have read previous posts that some just went to a clinic and just stated they wanted to update their immunizations

    Good Morning Taryn,
I know exactly what you are going thru,  My husband and I don't have any joint accounts either and he has never been to the States...looks like we are in the same boat
In my packet I put letters from family members that knew about our relationship, I also put as many pictures of my trips out there to Jamaica.
I also put my husband on my retirement benefits and also my renter's insurance
As far as the I130A...he doesn't have to sign because of him being overseas, but make sure you sign it...
    Good luck on your journey

Those would all be great as evidence of bona fide. I probably wouldn't send ALL of your communications, since no one has time to read through all of that. Instead, print out some parts from different months and years, so they can see how long you've been talking.

We just sent call logs to show calls to and from with talk times a few days for a couple of months, no charts at all.  We also included 2 affidavits, receipts, boarding passes and pictures at various places during various occasions including wedding and trips.

The best evidence when submitting your initial petition is things that show face time such as pics of you together at various times, boarding passes, passport stamps, etc. If you have any joint property or accounts that would be good as well. Also, you don’t have to submit 100s of pages of chat, a few from each month will do. Make sure they are show substance, not just affectionate verbiage.

the letter is fine but it wont carry much weight. what they particularly want are joint legal/financial ties. leases, back accounts, credit cards, wills, etc .... the stuff most normal married couples have.

You can certainly have your son submit a letter, that wouldn't hurt, but letters don't typically carry a lot of weight so don't rest your case too heavily on that.

I did not send chat transcripts in my package (I had plenty of other stuff to send), but I've seen a lot of VJ'ers mention that they sent in a sampling from each month of their relationship. Definitely don't send them 5900+ pages... USCIS is slow enough as it is!

Retirement benefits and renters insurance is very good if you're both listed on them.

You'll want to send anything else you have too. Do you have pictures of the two of you together? Send a sampling of pictures, from the wedding day up to the present. Are your names on a joint lease or bank statement? Those are good too.

Why not just do the I-129f for fiance visa?

If you plan on CR-1 visa for spouse though, yes you need to be married first before submitting petition as you have to show marriage certificate.
