Hello All, I went for my N-400 interview at Kansas City, MO office and thankfully got approved.

Went in at 7:30am in the morning and checked in after security check and some Covid/health related questions by the security. The security people were very nice and courteous. The immigration officer called me in shortly after check-in. He put me under oath and went through a few details on my application. Then he asked me 6 Civics and history questions and gave me a reading a writing test. He was very nice and courteous and had casual conversations with me once in a while to break the silence while he looked at his screen. He went thru some questions in the end of the application for which the system did not record my answer for some reason. He asked my travel history and I had to tell him about my recent trip abroad. He then told me that he would approve me and gave me a printed approval letter. He put a red tick mark on the approval box and handed it over to me. He said that I will get a letter for the oath ceremony within 2-3 weeks.

I just checked the online status, which changed to Oath ceremony is being scheduled.

I hope everyone on this thread is approved as well and wish everyone good luck.

    Thanks

    I AM DONE!!!

My interview was this morning at 7:45.  VERY quick (less than 10 minutes for the n400 part).  Then told they do same day oaths because of covid so we (it was a 751/400 combo) would need to go sit in the lobby, and that it would take “about 30 minutes”.  So, 3 hours later the supervisor finally came down, and just did a group oath with the 6 or 7 of us who were waiting.

    Hello!

I was the first in line for the interview, at 10.15am. I was not called until 11am.
The interview went smooth, the officier looked tough (with the mask on) , but the second she talked, she was very sweet. She asked me to verify a couple of information and while she wa checking everything, she ran a background check on me which lasted approximately 10 minutes. My case had a red paper in it, she explained that it was  because I filed the exact date I was able to, and the system asked to check if it wasn't filed too early, just in case...
Then we proceeded to the questions, and verification of all my information. She asked me the civic questions and to write and read : "who can vote ?"
She said she will recommend me for approval, an hour after, my case was approved.
I am currently in line for a date to take the oath

    Here. We. Go. Again.
Third time into the system after GC, ROC, and now Naturalization.
Completed using Chrome, didn't seem to have issues.
Got it in this morning to avoid the price hike, though it seems that may have been put on hold by a federal judge.
I guess its time to hurry up and wait.
    Good luck to all.

OP, I just saw your timeline. You got your green card in August 2018. You're not eligible to file for naturalization if that's correct. Btw, you should also add your ROC process to your timeline.

You don't need health insurance. I changed status in 2017 and I did not have health insurance as I was undocumented.
My husband had his health insurance through work at that time.
After I got my SSN and a job, I got health insurance through my job.
We had no issues regarding that.

I wouldn't recommend to take medicare as that can be considered to be a public charge and affect her process.
if she is a physician, they are granting permits for foreign physicians to work  legally, due to covid.
if she is in good health she can wait a little bit until this is over.
also, she wouldn't have health insurance penalty in the taxes, because she didn't have papers at the time.
