Nope.  Unless spouse received an email requiring his/her presence, spouse must stay outside.  Those were the instruction we received after arriving.... at the Irving office.

TheAkazs reacted to Loren Y in N-400 interview in TWO days. Last wise words?
If you know the questions, it's easy according to my wife. Passed in March of this year. IO started with the questions, and she said she was " In the Zone". We had studied the questions so much she was cranking out answers faster than he could begin the questions. Before she knew it he said " Congratulations" . She was like congratulations what?, he said you passed the test. She didn't even know she hit the first six right off. Only thing she had a little problem with was on the tablet she had to write out the word "senator" as part of a answer, and she had a little issue with the spelling, but IO was cool about it, and just laughed and said, no worries, your good. She said they spent most of the time talking about her son, and how he is here now, and how does she like it in Las Vegas. I hope you get a good IO like she did. She was nervous also, but said it was not as bad as she thought it would be. And like @Crazy Cat has said, being done with USCIS is worth every minute of the interview. I think I was happier she passed then she was knowing no more forms and waiting. She now has her " Coveted" Blue book, and we actually got her Naturalization certificate back in a reasonable time.

    Thanks everybody for the tips!
We had no issue at the airport in France as long as we had the flight itinerary for the trip.

USCIS sent us a letter for RFE since it has been several years since we submitted the petition. They are requesting updated evidence.

    More paperwork to send them!

By the way, we also received the 48 months extension notice. Yay

Iatatravelcentre.com uses data the same data  most airlines use. Your husband should enter his data and see what it says.

For some combinations of  citizenships, transit airports, dates of travel, final destinations, lengths of transits, airlines, etc a valid green card does waive the need for a transit visa.

He needs to make the Infopass appointment to get an extension stamp on his passport. This is what I did, although I hadn't quite reached expiry at that point.
This shows how to defeat USCIS's frustrating call system and worked for me last year: https://www.stilt.com/blog/2020/07/how-do-i-speak-to-a-live-person-at-uscis/

@beloved_dingo The GC may be taken away when getting ADIT (I-551) stamp. In that case the extension letter would be useless. Though it's hard to know whether he will get the extension letter, so the safest bet is the stamp.

Yeah I just read the USCIS website about 48 months extension starting tomorrow.
Guess call them tomorrow to schedule an infopass.
It has been a long waiting time PATIENTLY.

To use the calculator properly, you have to use the anniversary date.  It is three years after the GC date if based on marriage.  They don't make that obvious.

    So:

So it is the date aaron2020 gave you, April 25, 2021, that you want.

There's a huge error with the calculator.

90 days before the 3rd anniversary of your husband's green card is April 25, 2021.  Your husband can file for naturalization now.

Pretty straight forward... For biographical info, I was asked both our names, date of birth, address, where exactly we live (it's a small town on the outskirts of a larger metropolitan area). I was asked how we met, my husband was asked if I missed out any details, what colour our house is, how many bathrooms we have, if we have any kids, and we talked about our dog and rescue work. He was nice and professional and even told us to try out some food in the area, since we drove almost 3 hours to get to the interview!

Hello All. My wife and I are April 2019 filers. Our case has been ready to schedule an interview since September 2, 2019 but has been stuck at the NBC since.  We've called numerous times and still have not got any feedback on when our interview will be scheduled. Just called again this morning and after being placed on a brief hold we were told that USCIS is currently working on Feb. 2019 cases and that the best she could tell us is that we'd have to wait another 11-26 months. Not from the time we filed in April, 2019, which is already 24 months. An extra 11-26 months from this date, April, 5, 2021...I know that there is a lot going on in the world and I live by the saying 'It ain't all waiting on you'. But this is ridiculous. Recently contacted our congresswoman. Hopefully that will make a difference. To everyone else in the same boat, and I know there a many, hang in there. It will come to pass.

There are people reporting in the last 2 days about having no interview for MSC and they came on CR1 visa. Hoping those of you who have been waiting will be one of the lucky ones!

Just so you know, ready to be scheduled for an interview could still mean a long wait. If they say it has been scheduled and they will mail you the interview notice, then it is arriving!

TheAkazs reacted to Jesserose24 in Vaccine Exemption for Philosophical Reasons
Hello all, if this is posted elsewhere, please just help me find it. I'm Canadian, at the beginning of my Visa journey. I have my childhood vaccine record and likely won't need any. However, since becoming an adult and in charge of my own medical decisions, I am philosophically opposed to vaccines. There is a grey area around the TB shot (not required in my age group, I'm 36). But depending on when my medical is the flu shot could also be required. Not to mention when they'll add a C-ov-id vaccine to the list. I've done my research, according to the immigration website I can in fact decline on philosophical grounds. I simply have to write a testimony as such. I'm having a very hard time finding any one who has chose to go down this path of exemption on philosophical grounds.

I'm not looking to debate vaccines in any way. I'm Pro-Choice. Just looking for any one who's written such a declaration and what they put in that letter.

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

    Jesse
