Will they be able to get 40 quarters credit for social security/medicare eligibility?
So the main issues other than health are usually that older folks especially find it hard when they are removed from their home environment, extended family, friends network etc. it’s often particularly difficult - on both parent and child - when there is one child only they’ve moved for and that child /family tends to become the center of their new universe with other friends and family left behind. Parents can feel isolated, kids can feel a lot of pressure. It will certainly be easier for your parents than many others simply because they speak English (and North American English at that) but the loss of a support network can still be hard, and while it’s probably quite easy to be friendly to people they meet at clubs or whatever, making good friendships anew at an older age is hard.
I’m going to assume they are moving because they want to move, not because you’re putting pressure on them to do so.

Y’all filed a hella lot more paperwork than we did, and now I’m nervous. We submitted what we could, but it’s not like we did specific things to appease the USCIS officers, we just lived life as normal and barely took any special trips.
Honestly, for the most part my husband and I didn’t do a whole lot of vacationing or anything like that, we worked virtually the entire last two years (I haven’t even taken a single hour of my accrued vacation time since I started work in June 2017...only three months after I became an LPR).
Also I thought filing to Dallas was a Lockbox, so I filed the form for a credit card charge instead (I do have a properly filled out Cashier’s Check, but I kept it once I found out about the Credit Card form). I do see they received on Monday, March 11th as I sent it via certified USPS mail, but I don’t see any charges to my credit card yet.
Oh no. I hope I didn’t screw up.
What really didn’t help was because it seems a bunch of procedures were updated recently, there was a lot of information on VJ, the Internet, etc. that was in discrepancy compared to what was said on USCIS’s website on what to do. I followed what USCIS said to a T, or so I believe. The moment I see a credit card charge however, I’ll know I can at least breathe a sigh of relief.

Hi. I have good news. I finally received the text message with receipt number today. I am so relieved. I just checked my bank account and the check is not cashed yet. I am hoping it will be alright for you too. Mine came on the 18th day after they received my application. 18 long days. Anyway, keep us updated if you get any updates.

Does anyone here have an SRCxxxx xxx xxx receipt number? When updating my VS timeline, it's not an option on the drop-down?

You are OK to go. Just remember that if you get a biometric appointment scheduled while away, you will need to reschedule it.

From reading previous threads regarding biometrics appointments, it would seem that sometimes it's not necessary and they use previously taken prints. Also note, they barely communicate this unless asked.
If this will be the case for some of us, the fee of $85 will not be refunded.
I'm busy reassuring myself because I haven't received my bio appointment yet and I travel on Wednesday.

I had my biometric in Fort Myers all the time and for N400 it was in Fort Myers as well. Tampa is much much faster! Yes, I research a lot about Fort Myers office time period for N400 and only find one person N400 finished in 7 months. All others 10 to 15 months. So slow! Also about the oath, it is all about luck. Depends on how many people waiting for the oath. Good luck Y'all and please keep us updated. Thank you!

Hey, I went to their office today to get my stamp, and I met one person there who passed his interview this morning and got his Oath ceremony scheduled for Thursday this week, so answering your question it takes few days till Oath after interview!
Also, I asked few people who were waiting for their interviews, how long was the process till interview scheduled, everybody said it took abt a year (10/12) months......

USCIS online account number is provided when you file an online petition (e.g. N-400, I-90), previously this was known as the USCIS ELIS system. The receipt notice (NOA1) for these petitions also include the Online Account Number information.
The NOA1 Receipt Number is not the USCIS Online Account Number

Agree with @bigjailerman the previous lease will not add anything to your application. The new lease does!

Hi all!
I am in the final stages of putting together our evidence. I have a question though, in Aug 2018 we moved states and my name (conditional resident) is on our new lease, it wasn't on our previous lease.
So, do I submit the previous lease or not?
-
JennaCN reacted to bigjailerman in I-751 February 2019 Filers
Personally, I would just send in the new lease with your/both names on it.
