My only concern would be with the I134

    1) It's dated November by your signature.

    2) Does the income amount on that old version reflect the current 2017 W2's/2017 IRS Transcript/2017 1040's? Not to mention if you input bank account amounts...

    My fear is that either:

    A) Although your supporting documents will match your I134 financial amounts they will be from 2016 not 2017

Or B) If you only send updated 2017 supporting documents the amounts won't match with the financial amounts on the form.

The income amount on the I134  is within .1% of my actual W-2 for last year. I didn't put any banking or other asset information. I was going to put all of that, but my lawyer said my income is more than enough and therefore  I didn't need to put the rest of the information. She's never had a denial or even an RFE, and I know about 20+ people who have used her. My only complaint is she's slow to respond to questions.

My fiance actually has 2017 and 2016 tax transcripts for me already, but I was going to add the 2017 W-2 to her folder to take, just in case.

  2. I front loaded my I-126F with a copy of my I-134 (so figure that was back in November 2017). My information hasn't changed any... I'm hoping I don't need to fill out a new copy, physically sign it, and mail it to my fiance to take with her to the interview. The original extra copy I gave her should be sufficient, yeah?

I am planning on sending updated "statement of intent to marry" for both of us, mine with a wet signature, and her's blank to sign.

Also sending, last years tax transcript and my W2, and an employment verification letter (dated this May). I have been with the same company almost 6 years and have a good income that shouldn't cause any concerns. I've heard in Kyiv they often don't even ask for this stuff anyway, so not too concerned.

Also planning to send to my fiancee updated chat logs since we filed, and then of course she will have copies of everything she needs based on the Ukraine checklist from Packet 3.

Totally starting to get excited now that the long wait is over! Just a tiny wait now, and we can get to work scheduling stuff!

It was off Gua and Suryas timeline above I believe

Often time people put a date other than the received date as their date on VJ, or they put the date they received the copy in the mail, or they put the date from the new website... etc... but also, often the "old" system doesn't update anyway, so who knows what it could be without knowing the case number.

I have a full list of known cases from the month, and scan the "old" website nightly for updates... that's about all I know really :)

I can't seem to find any info for Bermuda embassy :( when I tried to navigate the embassy website there is nothing. Oh well i shall just wait for the notification. When do you usually suggest for us to call NVC? Noa2 June 8.

    Thank you in advance!!!!

I'd wait 14 days to call NVC, though I've heard it's taking 20-21 days right now...

This is pretty strange and a first from what I've seen thus far.

So I just got an email from the NVC with a scanned copy of a letter that is being sent to my fiancee with the case number and instructions....meaning my I-129 had already been approved without my knowing for probably the past few weeks.

I never received any sort of notice for my NOA2. I just now checked the old and new websites and they still only show the NOA1 date of receipt.

So I essentially have no idea what my NOA2 date was.....

Either way, it's good news for us.

So to those out there who are still waiting, it may be that you are already approved and it's in the NVC's hand but you never received your NOA2.

USCIS is baffling to say the least.

I still feel the frustration for those out there but don't fret, it will come just have to be patient. I definitely was and in the end even though I thought I was being left behind I was actually still on track.

    I'll update my timeline now.

    Woohooo!!!

You didn't get a hardcopy in the mail? Do they have your correct mailing address?

Yeah my fiancee has a birthday  late August so she's hoping she will make it here by then. We are planning a October wedding so if you need help with airline tickets I might be able to help with that. Are you flying together to your POE? I''ll  be meeting my fiancee in LAX and the  driving back to Vegas where I'm from.

I have a bunch of airline miles we'll be using, but we will be flying home together, O'Hare is my home airport.

x_driven_x hey nice to see you made it here too my friend. Just got our approval today so I know it will be 2 to 3 weeks before we can get a case number but as I've experienced it's all downhill from here really so glad to be in the ranks with you my friend!!!

Yes... the long wait is over... now just a tiny wait, and then it's really up to each couple how quickly they can finish the last couple steps! There's a light at the end of the tunnel! We're hoping for a late August POE, which should be doable and fits our schedules.

So with an estimated NOA2 of early August as a worst case scenario, I could expect to have a interview around September/October?

Im in a bit of a tough situation in regards to the interview, there may be a need to reschedule my interview as I’ll possibly be out of the country from mid sep to mid Oct. Is there any big issue with rescheduling a visa interview? Ideally I’d love to get the interview done before I’m out of the country but now I’m thinking that would be highly unlikely. Might have to cancel my trip :(

Keep in mind at the interview they will take your passport and your wont' get it back until about a week later. Not really a good idea to be making international travel plans around the time of your interview. Either hold off on the interview until you get back, or hold off on your trip until the interview is done and your have your passport back.

It really hard to predict when you might have your interview, USCIS and the NVC and your embassy could speed up or slow down between now and then, it's hard to say.

I dunno if this is being selfish or not but I'm really depressed to see all the December filers being approved while we don't hear anything about our case? I'm happy for them though but feeling frustrated when I realize that hey you filed first before them? Sorry for the vent out but I really need this to calm me down

I think that's perfectly reasonable to be frustrated about. We did it to some of October, and now December is doing it to some of us. It's definitely unfortunate for those having to wait a long time, especially 210+ these days.

All I can say is think forward 5 years, and you'll look back saying it's all worth it, and you've even wait an extra few months if you had to to be together again. It will happen,, though I know the waiting does suck for sure!

Of course im just saying for like early January filers for poe

I can't figure out how to answer your question without sounding like a complete jerk... so I'm just going to change up and repeat what I said and see if it makes a difference...

If you're lucky... you will probably get your NOA2 sometime in July.... which would, in general, correspond to most people being ready for a September POE. But, if your'e unlucky, you might not get your NOA2 until sometime in August... which will most likely, in general, correspond to being ready for POE in October.

Some people can get NOA2 -> POE in 30 days, but most people aren't that on top of things, or need to schedule travel ahead of time to deal with flight costs, and every embassy is different, and how quickly do you do things like prep for the medical exam, interview, etc... I would say the average is about 60 days after NOA2 based on the gut feeling from seeing people post here / people I know in person.

So I guess the question is... can you predict how lucky you will be?
