HSsweethearts4E got a reaction from Chancy in I-751 March 2021 Filers
Had my interview a few days ago. I arrived in the waiting area, and less than a minute later got called in. So much quicker than back in Tampa! I brought my husband with just in case, fortunately the officer said she would be conducting both the ROC and naturalization interviews, so he would have to be there for the first portion of the interview and leave for the 2nd. We brought my baby daughter as well since I'm breastfeeding, and she was allowed in no issues. After answering questions about our relationship and each other, my husband left and the officer conducted the civics and English test. Then we just went over my paperwork (she asked for my daughter's birth certificate as well, luckily I did bring it even though it wasn't mentioned in the letter or anywhere else), the yes/no questions and finally she had me check that the info on my naturalization certificate would be correct.
So happy to be almost done with this journey

It varies. I just did mine in Philadelphia and it took 5 months. They did my ROC interview together with my N-400 interview. Honestly ROC was no big deal to us, just another thing to file

Imagine if we had to call the # on the back to activate the card like a credit card.

Anyone waiting on 10 year green card can keep waiting or file N 400 when your eligible, we filed N 400 4/3/22 and my wife has Citizenship test 7/14/22. Still waiting on 10 year green card I 751 but God willing she passes it’s a mute point. YSC is still the worst

HSsweethearts4E reacted to SalishSea in ART IVF babies how to make citizens
I just don't see how the method of conception would ever even come up. Biological parents whose babies became embryos in a lab are legally no different than biological parents whose babies became embryos at home or in a Taco Bell bathroom. There is no separate notation on anyone's birth certificate about manner of conception.
Surrogacy/sperm donor situations are completely different.

just because they post something online does not mean that its true. lol they are just numbers that are made up by some guy in the number crunching room

OP,
Congrats. It's a sad state with USCIS that you had to WoM to get your application processed while others got theirs within the normal processing time.
But, I have to admit, this topic caught my eye because of the numerous @Crazy Cat references. I bet his notification is lighting up. Hello, @Crazy Cat, hopefully this doesn't cause you to be crazier crazy cat.

HSsweethearts4E reacted to SteveInBostonI130 in Do you date your photos?
Nope. Mostly because I am not sure where to take a photo out on a date. CVS photo section? Frame shop?

HSsweethearts4E reacted to shexy in MY IMMIGRATION JOURNEY IS FINALLY OVER
First, I want to say thank you to everyone on the forum, you all are the best. I had my N400 /I-751 interview on Thursday at Philadelphia and was given a recommendation for approval notice. This morning my I-751 changed to approved and this evening my N400 changed to oath ceremony notice was mailed. When I checked my online portal, my ceremony is coming on the 16th of this month. finally the stress is over. I still can't believe how fast it went. 🙏

Just wanted to pass some thoughts on LIN filers.
I've been keeping my eye on December 2020 I-751 thread and there seems to be sporadic movement there with 10-year cards being received; One was approved in ~7.5 months and another was approved in ~9.5 months. Going off the LIN spreadsheet for 2020 approvals, the average approval time looks like ~8 months. So hopefully by the end of this year, all of us LIN filers should receive some good news...hopefully...Hope everyone is well!
[Disclaimer: I am not an attorney or know anything about USCIS other than filing packets]
