Yes, I have heard quite a few folks say this guy was wronged by the system. I will admit the system in Michigan is far from perfect, but lack of knowledge on his part does not alleviate his responsibilities. He drove for 12 years on a suspended license, then finally took care of the issue that caused the suspension (we can debate suspending a driver's license for not paying child support, but I guess they were trying the carrot and stick approach), but it is his responsibility to get his license re-instated by going to the SoS in MI and show them the evidence he can now receive a valid DL. He missed two-three renewals in 12 years, they will need a new picture, etc. to get him a valid license, but apparently he thought they would just send one to him. I still say this is on him, and hopefully this little viral incident educated him a bit.

I have been hearing similar comments. The veteran players need to look at the long-term instead of playing petulant games with Clark. If she can help raise the relevancy of the game, everyone in the WNBA will win.

Maybe the WNBA can employ some enforcers. This may generate some additional interest. The problem with Clark is that she is on a truly bad team, and it will take several years before they are competitive. In general, even filing under the 5 year rule you will have to list your current marital status. In your case unfortunately (sorry for your loss) you would put single (my assumption), and there should not be a need for the marriage certificate or your spouse's death certificate.
