K1 Visa Russia To US - Questions
Dashinka replied to Walrus8512's topic in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus
This story may be helpful. Good Luck! -
Congrats! Enjoy the rest of your journey, and hopefully it is less of a hassle. When my now wife came over in 2014 of course it was much easier as she interviewed in Moscow. After we got married, we filed the AOS paperwork about 2-3 weeks later, then ROC and N400 and we also did it all ourselves with some strategic help from the VJ community.

Another petulant Democrat pushing the staged narrative. I must say, Democrats are really showing their true colors with respect to being “for the people”, when they claim an event like this where one person was killed, and at least two others were severely injured was staged. This is why I cannot support any Democrat today, they are a way more threat to Democracy than anything Trump can muster. Hmm, so the Morning Joe show is really just a Democrat mouthpiece, and cannot be trusted to actually report or relay news facts. I think that is well known among many people. Btw, what is Old Corrupt Joe going to watch this morning? As a side note, could have put this in the journalism thread, but seemed more relevant to this thread. Affidavit supporting father's paternity
Dashinka replied to Gen_X's topic in Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA)
Affidavits tend to be very poor types of evidence as people can write anything they want. If you have all the solid proof of your paternity, you should be fine. Good Luck! -
So what answer will she give the CO if or when they ask about residing in the U.S.? It seems you are still in a state of flux in deciding where you plan to live long-term. Honestly, I think it would have been a better option to try for the B2 considering the previous GC was officially abandoned, and your current situation is living and working abroad. Regardless, it is what it is. Let us know how it goes.

DCF Request Tokyo -- Job Offer in USA
Dashinka replied to Tymotal's topic in Direct Consular Filing (DCF) General Discussion
Good to hear, and thanks for the update. It should move fairly quickly from this point, but you will need to wait for the consulate to contact you with an interview date for your wife. Good Luck! -
In general, if a consulate is closed in a country, NVC will move the petition to the consulate that is covering. You can request a different consulate (see below), and generally they will try to accommodate if the request consulate agrees, but the beneficiary will need to get to that country and satisfy any travel visa requirements so they can legally enter. Good Luck! How do I transfer my Immigrant Visa case from one embassy or consulate to another? If you would like to transfer your Immigrant Visa (IV) case to another embassy or consulate, please follow the steps below: If your case is at a U.S. embassy or consulate, contact the potential gaining U.S. embassy or consulate in writing to request a transfer of your case. Please include a justification for the request. If you are not a resident of that country, specify that in your request. If your petition is being processed at the National Visa Center (NVC), contact the NVC to request the transfer. NVC will transfer cases to another IV processing post if parties provide a written request along with the address in the requested country and the proof of eligibility (citizenship/legal residency in the requested country or other documentation). This can be provided at https://nvc.state.gov/inquiry. In limited circumstances, NVC may need to contact you for additional eligibility requirements. Note that transferring your case might not result in immediate processing as cases are processed in order based on the date the case became documentarily qualified. If you are requesting a transfer for a K Visa, the receiving Embassy or Consulate has the discretion to approve or deny the acceptance of a K visa application from an applicant outside the consular district. Contact the potential gaining U.S. embassy or consulate in writing to request a transfer of your case and include the reason for the transfer request. If you paid the MRV fee at the original post and the transfer request to a new post is subsequently approved, a new visa fee will be required. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/national-visa-center/immigrant-visas-processing-general-faqs.html#ivp13

The Dems are trying to maneuver the same way the parties in France did. The House members are so worried about the down ballot, so they are actually trying to stage a coup. The problem they are facing right now is that people realize if Old Corrupt Joe is not capable of running, he is also not capable of being President right now and the Kamala situation comes front and center. The other issue is that they are dealing with a stubborn old man who knows about a lot of skeletons. I hear a lot of folks say Obama just needs to ask him to step down, but I am not really sure if Joe really likes Obama, and also if Joe would take Obama down with him. This is why Obama is treading lightly, letting Clooney and others come forward. It is interesting seeing the Democrat civil war take shape, the Obama elite on one side, and the old guard on the other side. It will be an interesting couple of days, weeks, months.
