  1. Wow, I thought Old Corrupt Joe would get a reprieve of at least a week before the pressure intensified again. I heard even Mika's husband is climbing aboard the Joe get out train.
  2. Yep, Old Corrupt Petulant Joe is a foreign policy expert. The Fall of the Sahel: A Generational Foreign Policy Failure The unraveling began with the Biden administration’s inadequate “charm offensive” that was promptly ignored for coups and a shift toward Russia and others. The political missteps include a hollow Africa strategy emphasizing Washington political goals and swapping an effective envoy role for a regional representative with a reputation for spending time anywhere but the region itself (a decision recently reversed). During this administration, the U.S. has evacuated multiple embassies and troops in Niger and Chad, and has failed to stand with allies in making definitive decisions or deliver consequences for adverse actions. It would appear trust in this White House’s effectiveness or willingness to offer a meaningful response has vanished. The Biden administration needs to answer for its historically disastrous results. A reasonable and apolitical assessment finds the current White House and its leadership at the U.S. Department of State have failed repeatedly, without meaningful changes in strategy or personnel. White House policies remain unadjusted. U.S. embassies remain vacant. Rumors persist about appointed State senior officials snubbing guidance from U.S. foreign service officers, a self-inflicted miscalculation. Alleged dismissive and condescending attitudes during bilateral discussions have scuttled any ability for the United States to maintain a role in deescalating the crisis or moving forward. https://www.realclearworld.com/articles/2024/07/18/the_fall_of_the_sahel_a_generational_foreign_policy_failure_1045452.html
  3. The OP stated they are the first wife. Found this which is interesting reading. https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/will-you-be-denied-us-citizenship-based-polygamy-bigamy-multiple-marriages.html
  4. One of our former members is thinking along the same lines.
  5. Yes, it is very easy. The only issue is that you will take a judicial oath when the time comes, but that is not a huge deal either. Good Luck!
  6. OP got a 10yr card in 2017, so my assumption is 9/30/2027.
  7. When in 2019 did you submit the N400? If you submitted prior to 7/1/2019 it may be an issue and a new N400 will be needed as @Family suggested. There was no basis for filing under the 3 yr rule since the divorce occurred from the first spouse. Good Luck! P.S. I suspect you have reached the limit of your posts today, so I will follow this thread.
  8. OK, so now the specific dates play a role as if you filed the N400 under the 3 yr rule, it will not go anywhere since you divorced your 1st wife. If you filed under the 5 yr rule, then you may need some help to get it moving. Are you certain there are no RFEs, or other notices on your online account. Good Luck!
  9. Yes, it sounds like the 2017 green card was from ROC.
  10. You know, I used to say the rot in the bureaucracy was at the top, but it seems to be going down to the ranks. I cannot imagine what my officer would have said back when I was fighting fires that I did not want to go on the roof since it was sloped. Kim Cheatle, the Dr. First Lady. Dr. Jill Biden appointee must resign in disgrace, and she should be stripped of any retirement or any other public benefits for her response to this, and any other USSS officer that was in a decision making position on the ground should also be given the same treatment. There is no way the Federal bureaucracy can be trusted anymore, and accountability should begin. Now I am not holding my breath as accountability is one thing that lacks in DC particularly with the bureaucrats.
  11. Not too worried about taxes as you say she has been filing accordingly. As to unauthorized work, that is forgiven if filing as the spouse of a USC. That being said, this does look like lawyer territory, you may try Jim Hacking's YouTube show to ask about your options, but I believe you can file the I130/I485 since she did not enter the US illegally (i.e. without inspection). Good Luck!
  12. If your husband is an LPR and he filed it would be under the F2A classification, so even if the I130 is approved quickly, it will still be a wait for a visa to become available according to the visa bulletin (currently 15Nov21). Why didn't you file the I130 for the step son under the IR2 classification? Good Luck! https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Bulletins/visabulletin_August2024.pdf
  13. What basis did you file for citizenship? It appears like the 3 yr rule.
  14. Congrats on moving forward. To change the title of the thread, click the three buttons on your original post (upper right corner), and request (by hitting the report selection) a moderator change the title to what you want. Good Luck!
  15. If you have all the documents, it does not hurt to ask the consulate/embassy to expedite the second interview. Good Luck!
  16. Of course not, Democrats know so much better how to raise the children.
  17. A lot of the rank and file union members are supporters of Trump, so not really a surprise.
  18. He was trying to blame it all on his wife as he is just a simple Senator from NJ.
  19. Verdict is in. Sen. Bob Menendez found guilty on all counts in federal corruption trial Sen. Bob Menendez was found guilty on all counts Tuesday in his federal corruption trial. Federal prosecutors in New York alleged the New Jersey Democrat accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes in the form of cash, gold bars, mortgage payments and more in exchange for the senator's political clout. Three New Jersey businessmen who were also charged, along with the governments of Egypt and Qatar, were the alleged recipients. Two of those co-defendants, Wael Hanna and Fred Daibes, were also convicted of all counts they faced. The jury deliberated for about 13 hours over three days. Menendez pleaded not guilty to 16 federal charges including bribery, fraud, acting as a foreign agent and obstruction. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/sen-bob-menendez-found-guilty-on-all-counts-in-federal-corruption-trial/ar-BB1q5AeH
  20. So the other logical conclusion is he was on the side of the Pedo Protection Pact otherwise known as the Lincoln Project.
  21. Yes, the Democrat Party is very divided. Btw, the reason for registering as a Republican in 2022 was already theorized with a valid reason, the fact that you choose to ignore that is on you. Didn't earn it.
  22. DEI strikes again. Progress? Will anyone answer in the Democrat DEI administration? Cheatle should resign, so should Mayorkas, but alas, they will not as accountability is nowhere to be found in the failed Biden administration. A Compromised Secret Service Scene one: after President Trump ducks, a group of agents leaps to him and protects him with their bodies. A female agent who rushes to the stage acts bravely, without a doubt, but the point of the “huddle” is to protect the president. The agent was much shorter than President Trump, leaving his head and neck exposed after he stood up. Scene two: as Trump enters the escape vehicle, a female Secret Service agent fumbles her gun and cannot find her holster; another female agent appears confused and, in the moment of crisis, decides to use both of her hands to put on her sunglasses; a third looks frightened and uncertain. These agents wear the typical Secret Service outfits—Kevlar vests pressing against white shirts; black blazers with gold pins; dark sunglasses—but to an impartial observer, they do not appear to have the same poise, confidence, and strength as the male agents around them. The obvious question: Why so many female agents? The answer, unfortunately, is the same as in many other institutions: DEI. The Secret Service has highlighted “diversity” as a key priority and its director, Kimberly Cheatle, named to the position in 2022, has pledged to increase dramatically the number of women in the ranks. This is official policy. The Secret Service openly boasts that it “prioritizes recruiting women candidates” and has formulated an “affirmative action” plan to increase the number of women, LGBT, Native Americans, and other identity groups. Cheatle herself told CBS News that her goal was to reach 30 percent female recruits by 2030: “I’m very conscious, as I sit in this chair now, of making sure that we need to attract diverse candidates and ensure that we are developing and giving opportunities to everybody in our workforce, and particularly women.” The agency is well on its way. In 2021, for the first time, the special agent training class graduated more women than men. https://www.city-journal.org/article/a-compromised-secret-service
