  1. You may want to discuss this with a tax accountant that specializes in US expats. Good Luck!
  2. Based on the N400 instructions (see below), I would organize it in a similar way. He can add more evidence if he wants in the other evidence section (I assume he is filing online). Good Luck! Required Evidence - Eligibility Based on Marriage to a U.S. Citizen Provide a copy of the following if you are applying for naturalization based on your marriage to a U.S. citizen: 1. Evidence that your spouse has been a U.S. citizen for at least 3 years at the time you file your Form N-400. For example: A. Your spouse’s U.S. birth certificate (if your spouse has held U.S. citizenship since birth); B. Your spouse’s Certificate of Naturalization; C. Your spouse’s Certificate of Citizenship; D. Your spouse’s Form FS-240, Consular Report of Birth Abroad; or E. The biographical page of your spouse’s U.S. passport; 2. Current marriage certificate and any divorce decree, annulment decree, or death certificate showing that your and your spouse’s prior marriages were terminated (if applicable); and 3. Evidence that you and your spouse have lived in marital union for at least 3 years before the time you file your Form N-400. Some examples include: A. Joint bank or credit card statements; B. Leases or mortgages; C. Birth certificates or adoption decrees (as applicable) for any children born or adopted during the marriage by either spouse; D. Insurance policies; and E. IRS tax transcripts for you and your spouse for the past 3 years. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/n-400instr.pdf
  3. No, she should be fine just knowing the generalities. All the details relative to date of marriage, date of divorce, etc. are in the package already. Good Luck!
  4. Each entry can be an adventure depending on the CBP officer she encounters. All she can do is answer the officer's questions truthfully, she is not required to offer anything additional. If asked to provide more evidence she will return, she should share what she has, and more importantly, don't show up at the PoE with all her worldly possessions indicating she does not plan to return to Chile. Many spouses visit on B2/ESTA while the I130 is pending, the general rule-of-thumb is shorter visits (i.e. don't max out the 90 days or six months, etc.), and show a pattern of adhering to the entry and exit requirements. Good Luck!
  5. I have only seen a few stories of what is going on here. Very sad really. South Africa has abandoned civilisation Moeletsi was the victim of a deliberate state policy. In September last year, the South African government, led by the African National Congress (ANC), launched Operation Vala Umgodi, which in Zulu translates as ‘close the hole’. The aim, in the words of a government minister, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, was to ‘smoke out’ illegal gold miners. The government would do this by cutting off the miners’ supplies and trapping them underground, in an attempt to force them to the surface. In Buffelsfontein, where the shafts are over two kilometres deep, this was a tragedy foretold. As public concern for the trapped miners mounted, the ANC remained callously indifferent. It argued that these miners, most of whom were immigrants, were acting unlawfully and remained underground of their own volition. ‘We are not sending help to criminals’, Ntshavheni told reporters. This was, apparently, a justifiable action against the rising tide of criminality in South Africa. Illegal mining has thrived in South Africa through small-time pilfering and organised criminal networks, costing the economy billions of rands in lost income and royalties. You may recall that South African president Cyril Ramaphosa is the man who, at a BRICS meeting in November 2023, accused Israel of committing war crimes and genocide in Gaza. He qualified these accusations by stating that the ‘deliberate denial of medicine, fuel, food and water to the residents of Gaza is tantamount to genocide’. So, did Ramaphosa commit genocide in the Buffelsfontein Gold Mine? https://www.spiked-online.com/2025/01/31/south-africa-has-abandoned-civilisation/
  6. I agree, your current spouse should not need to memorize exact dates of your previous marriage, divorce, etc. Just general knowledge of your past relationship and immigration histories will go a long way to showing you are in a good marriage now. Good Luck!
  7. This may be helpful. You can search for a CBP deferred inspection location and get a stamp. As to the documents, does the visa in the passport have the note “IV Docs in CCD”? Is so, all the relevant documents are transferred electronically. Good Luck!
  8. I agree, this one is also very sad. Prayers for the families involved. The NTSB is going to be busy.
  9. You should be fine applying for their U.S. Passports with their UK birth certificates and proof of your U.S. citizenship (presumably your U.S. based birth certificate). Good Luck!
  10. You will be fine as you do not have to have your 2024 taxes filed until April. Good Luck!
  11. Personally, I would not worry about trying to re-open anything at NVC, but you can fill out a new I864 with 10/17/2024 revision (the evidence should be the same), and have your spouse take it with them to the interview in case the CO asks for it. My guess though is the consulate will not ask for it. Good Luck!
  12. I know when I am going in for a medical procedure, I always place diversity ahead of any other quality or skill. Seriously, how is it that Democrats, yes, Democrats/leftist are the ones pushing DEI, get away with a blatantly racist program? I guess they are just rehashing their past history.
  13. I would expect an episode of Air Disasters/Mayday in 2-3 years. I always love the Gimli Glider episode.
  14. There are many factors related to this. Similar to many MENA, sub-Saharan and other countries not very friendly or with governments not very effective countries, the Russian government may not be fully cooperating with the US consulates relative to background information. Add to that the US consulates in Russia only staffed for emergency operations, and therefore IVs (K1's included) need to look for other consulates to handle their visa applications, so that adds more processing time. All-in-all, a real pita.
  15. I agree, the I134 is not uploaded to NVC for a K1, but rather is presented at the interview, so for a K1, the 30 day clock would start then.
  16. So the NEA is in favor of child trafficking? The same union in favor of not informing parents when a kid decides to adopt the transgendered fad? Btw, what are 'safe zones'? Is the NEA saying that ICE agents are bad people?
  17. Apparently California never learns. Do they know that the wildfires that are partly the fault of the CA state bureaucracy and CA elected leaders emitted way more GHGs than years of burning fossil fuels for energy or transportation. Additionally, why are all these boneheaded plans initiated by Scott Weiner? California bill would hold oil and gas companies liable for climate change-fueled damage https://thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/5110908-california-bill-fossil-fuel-companies-liability-climate-change/
  18. Personally, my money is on ATC failures to be able to keep air traffic separated. There may be underlying reasons why ATC was understaffed Wednesday evening, but apparently these training flights happen often, and the pilots take the direction of the controllers as to where they are supposed to be. Now if evidence is uncovered that the helicopter pilot (I really do not blame the pilots of the plane as they were in a landing pattern and had little warning of what might happen and no time to really react) was not following the directions of ATC then I guess I lose my money.
  19. Kind of being ignored by the synchronized MSM. Hmm. Andy Ngo is covering it. Killing of border patrol agent appears linked to ‘Zizian’ radical leftist trans cult The murder of a US Border Patrol agent near the Canadian border appears to be linked to a radical leftist trans militant cult accused of killings across the country. Around a week before the Jan. 20 attack, federal law enforcement had been surveilling German national Felix “Ophelia” Bauckholt and University of Washington student Teresa “Milo” Consuelo Youngblut. Staff at a Lyndonville, Vermont motel alerted authorities about seeing the duo with a firearm and black tactical clothing. https://nypost.com/2025/01/30/us-news/killing-of-border-patrol-agent-appears-linked-to-zizian-radical-leftist-trans-cult/
  20. Could not have happened to a nicer guy. I am curious why he didn't ask Biden for a pardon.
  21. Didn't WWII start by actions like this on the Polish border?
  22. Very sad to hear, and thoughts and prayers to the families of those affected as there appears to be no survivors. I will be curious in the future as to why a military aircraft was so close to the approach pattern of a major airport, and the NTSB will find that out. It is also reported that there were some young figure skating athletes and their families and coaches on board, some of them from Russia.
  23. Maybe combine the two threads with very different situations. To the OP, if this is in fact real, if you marry your fiance, then any I129F/K1 becomes null and void. If you are actually here in the US on a B2 and your situation has changed, feel free to get married and adjust status while understanding the short-term limitations of that path. Good Luck!
