    Yes that is what it says but the government in Malaysia is saying otherwise. We have both called multiple different government bodies in Malaysia and they have all said the same thing.

    Yes. I have. The only way you can get an alternate document for a birth certificate in Malaysia is doing what they said which is having my parent with me.

    My Philippines Passport. I don't have a Malaysian passport. I just need my Malaysian birth certificate for my interview because I was born there. The only way I can get any certified copy, I was told I need my parent with me in Malaysia.

    That's exactly what I was saying! But they still said multiple times that I need one of my parents there I have no Malaysian ID is the reason they said. I have lived here in the Philippines my whole life.

    Hi everyone. Can someone please help. My mother and my father are holding my Malaysian birth certificate from me. We have tried calling the police but they laugh at me and tell me to make up with my mom and ask her for it (she refuses to give it to me "for my protection"), we have tried contacting Malaysia but they're saying in order to extract a birth certificate they need my parent to come with me to get it even though I am 20. My whole family is against me because they don't want me to leave the country and I am losing hope. Please if anyone knows anything that we can do to get my birth certificate because I need my final interview done. I am begging for anyone who can give any advice at all.

    Hi is it saying your case number for NVC is invalid? That's what it's telling us too We thought we'd be approved right now but we missed a document and got the yellow slip. Let me know if you have any breakthrough please!

    Also even when we input our case number we are being met with "The Case Number entered is invalid. Please confirm your Case Number and re-enter it." We entered a case with their support but was wondering if anyone knew anything about this.

    Here is the paper they gave me. The QR code they sent just leads directly to the sign in page for the scheduling website and from there just takes you to the main menu.

    I apologize for posting twice today, however I am having an issue with the K1 scheduling website. Today during my interview I was told to come back with my original birth certificate and was given a yellow piece of paper and the woman there said to reschedule and bring it back to do my final interview (This was during the pre-screening). She said that I would NOT have to pay again. However I am trying to reschedule now on usvisascheduling but it's making me do everything again including biometrics and payment. Is there anything I can do?

    Thank you we are looking into it. We're just concerned about how long it will take to get an extraction of birth certificate. We also noticed one of the requirements is an ID document but I have no Malaysian ID. I do have an old Malaysian passport but it is expired.

    Hello does anyone have any knowledge of how to obtain a copy of a Malaysian birth certificate? I was born in Malaysia but I have been living abroad in the Philippines my whole life and I need to get my original Malaysian birth certificate for my interview however it is lost. Please if anyone has any advice be kind and help me! I am desperately looking up how to do it and I can't find any answers. My mother lied to me about my birth certificate here in the Philippines being my original but I found out today during my interview that this was not the case and now I need to get my original birth certificate. I am so distressed and upset that I got denied and have to reschedule so please don't make things harder on me with lectures of how I should have known. My life with my mother has been sheltered and I'm learning everyday that the things she told me growing up are not true Thank you.

      Hey, thats great news! you can now check your case number on CEAC site to check 
      the status of your Visa. Our application just updated to IN TRANSIT, that is roughly 7weeks from the 
      date where USCIS sent our application to NVC. We are still waiting until its gonna be READY so we
      could schedule an interview and medical!
