Probably a silly question but do I need a police report from the USA also as I spent a year there as an exchange student when I was 17 yrs old? That's when I first met my husband 30 years ago 😊

Hi, I'm in the process of obtaining police reports from the countries i have lived in since I was 16. I am a Finnish citizen and I have lived in Spain, England and Ireland. I believe I would be able to get one report from the Finnish officials that would include criminal records (well the lack of them but anyhow) from other EU countries. That should be enough, right? Would save me tons of headache and trouble trying to get these from abroad.

Hi Does anyone have any info whether this current slow down in processing I-130's might pick up or will it ever pick up? Our petition is at Texas service center and everything seems very slow at the moment. Another question, how long does it usually take to get an interview date after the I-130 is approved? (Consular processing) Thank you 😊

Yes looks like they are working on late February 2025 at the moment but things moving really slow at the moment 🙄

Our estimate went even further away....but I went on Track my Visa and they have pretty interesting charts about the processing of I-130's that you can view free of charge. That put my mind to ease, I recommend to have a look at that site!😊

On our timeline. I've heard though that they are not accurate but it's still disappointing seeing it jump so much further 😕 let's hope closer to July than November....

Apparently the time estimates are not accurate....on our timeline it stated March 2026 for a very long time, then it didn't say anything for a while and today I checked and it says between July 30th -November 29th 2026....🙄

Any news/approvals? It looks like they haven't started yet to approve any petitions with NOA1 in March 2025....still waiting....Good luck everyone, hopefully things will start moving soon ✨️💗

Hi, any other 02/25 I-130 filers out there? We are going through consular processing with my USC husband, got our first NOA March 5th 2025 & now waiting and hoping for fast approval 🤩 Good luck everyone 💗
