Daily update on Biden tanking america
Dashinka replied to Nature Boy 2.0's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Of course she can't as Democrats support abortion up to birth with no restrictions. Kamala Harris Refuses to Cite a Single Abortion Restriction She Supports https://www.dailysignal.com/2023/09/11/kamala-harris-wont-cite-single-abortion-restriction-she-supports/ -
Let's see, Abbott bused a little more than 13k immigrants to NYC. It seems the overwhelming numbers are coming from another source. Maybe Adams needs to go back down to DC so the Biden team can snub him again. https://nypost.com/2023/09/06/texas-gov-greg-abbot-says-the-state-has-bused-35k-migrants-to-sanctuary-cities/

Manhunt for Danelo Cavalcante
Dashinka replied to yuna628's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Probably not. I am surprised this person is generally staying in the area although it is not completely clear from the news reports. -
Democrats and so called "progressives" don't give a you know what about free speech, or for that matter any other parts of the Constitution. Obama said it, and I am sure other "progressives" as well, of how restrictive the Constitution is toward the government. Darned ,Founding Fathers, they actually were against oppressive governments the "progressives" so desire.

If You Want Data Privacy, Don't Drive a Car
Dashinka replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
More than likely a feature they do not need or want. How many unused apps do you have on your phone? Vehicles are essentially just tablets on wheels hoovering up personal information so someone can profit. Now I do not have a problem with someone making a profit, but in this case it seems so coercive and in some ways underhanded. Let people know what you are doing and let them have an honest way to opt out. I am sure there are plenty of folks willing to part with their privacy, heck, how many folks have smart speakers, or other smart devices listening to them in their homes. -
Yep, just more government speak. If Democrats did not have double standards, they would have no standards at all. Incredible: Chicago Teachers Union Boss Accidentally Champions School Choice Let's start by examining with the very beginning and very end of this excerpt. She claims that policies in Chicago are written by "millionaires" and "billionaires," labeling these bogeymen "violent forces." She also writes that the Powers That Be "engage in fraudulent practices" resulting in "substandard services to Black and Brown families." Chicago is one of the bluest cities in the country, located in a Democrat-dominated state. Unions wield more influence in Illinois, and Cook County in particular, than almost anywhere else in the United States. If Ms. Davis-Gates really believes that Chicago's institutions are shot through with systemic racism, and that families of color are being forced into "substandard services," she's really indicting her political party, her ideology, and her union. They run the state and the town. They have for generations. The more important takeaway from her missive is the powerful case she makes for school choice, albeit inadvertently. She explains that she and her husband decided that a private school was the best fit for their son because he wants to "live out his dream as a soccer player." Not only that, they also preferred the private school's curriculum that can fulfuill her child's "social and emotional needs." She admits that her local public school doesn't offer these opportunities to her satisfaction, so she's doing what is best for her kid. But a primary purpose of her job as a union boss is to fight against other, poorer parents' ability to make precisely the sort of choices and calculations that she has. She wants their children stuck in the failing schools she represents. This is callous. This is deeply hypocritical. And it's 'privilege' of the worst sort. Another teachers union boss was on television this weekend arguing for increased levels of more "equitable" spending as the supposed solution to serious problems in our education system. We'll get to her predictable talking points below, but first let's review how serious matters have gotten: https://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2023/09/11/teachers-union-boss-accidentally-endorses-school-choice-n2628208

Dashinka replied to kierra Clay's topic in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
The reported processing times (for 80% of applications) for the I485 at the Louisville field office is about 13 months. So maybe an interview in December 2023, or 1st quarter 2024. Good Luck! https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ -
Can a CR-1 file for a K1 Visa?
Dashinka replied to PatrickMcC's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Since you are living together at the same address, you can file the I864A. (Sorry, not a good idea as this would need to be attached to your daughter's I864 and also signed by your daughter) That being said, if you, as the co-sponsor, are married, your wife should fill out an I864A to go with your I864 as the co-sponsor. Many consulates require this. Good Luck! -

Divorce after N-400 filed

I agree. She may want to withdraw the N400 application. This thread may be helpful. Good Luck! -
Marriage Certificate Question
Dashinka replied to BMWFIRE's topic in US Citizenship General Discussion
Shouldn't be an issue. If your marriage certificate was good enough for the I130 visa process, etc., he should be fine with the N400 process. Good Luck! -
Hmm, I didn't know there were neocons at the Guardian. Putin is waging a forever war. The west can’t pull the plug on Ukraine now Here’s what to do: welcome Ukraine into Nato and the EU without further delay. Offer security guarantees and safe sea lanes now, backed by Nato firepower, red lines, more arms, planes and no-fly zones. Warn China, Iran and North Korea to back off. Stop talking about talks. Accept there can be no peace until Russia unconditionally withdraws. Will the politicians get it at last? Let’s hope so – because while Putin rules, there will be no quick way out, no middle path, no easily available diplomatic fudge. Ukraine must win – or we all lose. https://www.theguardian.com/world/commentisfree/2023/sep/02/putin-is-waging-a-forever-war-the-west-cant-pull-the-plug-on-ukraine-now

Not really sure that is possible.

Can a CR-1 file for a K1 Visa?
Dashinka replied to PatrickMcC's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
A lot of folks have attested to filing the I129F (K3) speeding up the process. As to anything USCIS, YMMV, but there is no downside. Good Luck! -
How long are russian tourist visas ??
Dashinka replied to durden2128's topic in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus
Since she lives in Kazakhstan, I assume she is looking to interview at the US consulate in Almaty. Current wait times for an interview there is about 4 weeks. All the US consulates in Russia are not processing B2 applications. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/wait-times.html -
Granholm was a failed MI governor and a Canadian Leftist. It is not surprising her entitled trip was full of snafus. I agree, it was telling they did not have an Tesla's in the EV group (it was also interesting the advanced team was using ICE vehicles). As I have said time and time again, EVs are not bad vehicles, and they might be good for many folks, but they have limitations, and lack utility. Sure they may be less likely to need maintenance except of course for their massive amount of software, and their tires.
