  1. Fire hydrants? Really? Hundreds of Los Angeles fire hydrants stolen as fire season starts Fire hydrant thefts join a spate of street lamp pole thefts in Pasadena and the rise of electric vehicle charging thefts nationwide as infrastructure theft for scrap metal becomes a serious problem for billions of dollars in taxpayer investments. In 2014, California voters passed Proposition 14, which allows theft under $950 to be charged as a misdemeanor. With a limited amount of prosecutorial resources, prosecuting thefts under $950 in resale value is a lesser priority than violent crimes. Leaders point to a combination of police shortages and lack of criminal prosecution as enabling infrastructure theft that could put public safety at risk. https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/hundreds-los-angeles-fire-hydrants-stolen-fire-season-starts
  2. Processing times for the DC Field Office is about 25 months for the I485. Good Luck! https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
  3. Are they permanently located in the US on their TN visas, or do they cross regularly?
  4. 1) If current salary meets requirements, no need to list any assets. 2) Tax transcripts by themselves are enough as they already contain all the W2 information. If you do not have tax transcripts from the IRS, you can provide copies of your tax return along with the W2. Don't mix and match. Good Luck!
  5. So when Democrats do it, it is good, when Republicans do it it is election year politics. Seems hypocritical.
  6. I have been hearing similar comments. The veteran players need to look at the long-term instead of playing petulant games with Clark. If she can help raise the relevancy of the game, everyone in the WNBA will win.
  7. Maybe the WNBA can employ some enforcers. This may generate some additional interest. The problem with Clark is that she is on a truly bad team, and it will take several years before they are competitive. As to the rest of the WNBA, the NILs in college are making many envious of the rookies who were making money in college whereas the veterans did not have that opportunity. We shall see how it all works out in the end.
  8. I agree, I would pursue the spousal visa process. You can visit while the process is ongoing, but make sure you both research CRBA assuming the child is born in Canada so you don't have to deal with trying to expedite a new I130 when the child arrives. Good Luck!
  9. You can try searching “visa bulletin movement over time” as there are some sites that track this.
  10. My wife only listed her travel dates (she filed by paper), and took itineraries and boarding passes to the interview. This question will be asked again at the interview and again at the oath as many people may take trips between those stages. Good Luck!
  11. In general, even filing under the 5 year rule you will have to list your current marital status. In your case unfortunately (sorry for your loss) you would put single (my assumption), and there should not be a need for the marriage certificate or your spouse's death certificate. However, I would have them ready for the interview in case the IO requests them considering your immigration history through your former spouse. Good Luck!
  12. Seems right. Joshua trees growing for over 100 years will be cleared for solar farm in California https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/energy/joshua-trees-growing-over-100-years-will-be-cleared-solar-farm-california
  13. If you are currently residing legally in Canada, you can apply for a visitor visa there. If you have a valid B2 visa, then you can visit. Good Luck!
  14. Sounds like the application was put on someone's desk at USCIS that was out. Though not common for them to take six weeks to receive an AOS package, it is not completely out of the ordinary. Good Luck!
  15. More of a Blue State issue which also includes Oregon. No wonder some many counties in Eastern Oregon want to merge with Idaho. Btw, I am not against the ruling by the district judge and the 9th Circuit, the Constitution should mean something. Oregon defendants who do not have a lawyer must be released from jail, US appeals court rules https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/oregon-defendants-who-do-not-have-a-lawyer-must-be-released-from-jail-us-appeals-court-rules/ar-BB1nwmtV?ocid=BingNewsSerp
  16. Seems pretty petulant and entirely hypocritical, but what does one expect with the extreme left logic. Nina Turner Doesn't Want People 'With Felonies' Vilified Unless It's This Person (Guess Who) https://twitchy.com/amy/2024/06/02/nina-turner-trump-felon-n2396899
  17. Yep, fair trial. Thread from Former FEC Chairman Whose Testimony Merchan Refused to Allow in Trump Trial DAMNING Must-Read https://twitchy.com/samj/2024/06/02/brad-smith-thread-merchan-refused-to-allow-him-to-testify-n2396896
  18. Gotta love the extreme left "journalists" that actually ignore the graphs they include in their own gaslighting pieces. Axios Poses the Burning Question: Why Do Grocery Prices 'FEEL' High? (Twitter's Got Answers) https://twitchy.com/grateful-calvin/2024/06/03/axios-poses-the-burning-question-why-do-grocery-prices-feel-high-twitters-got-answers-n2396905
  19. Not really sustainable, but I suppose few care. US federal budget crosses grim milestone as interest payments overtake defense spending https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/us-federal-budget-crosses-grim-milestone-as-interest-payments-overtake-defense-spending/ar-BB1mN4nI
  20. Yes, she can leave and come back for biometrics. As to re-using biometrics, I don't believe you can request that, it is something USCIS determines on their own. Good Luck!
  21. You can list one parent, and then create a Word/PDF file to attach to the additional information section. Good Luck!
  22. It is not the physical I797 receipt notice, but it does show the NOA is coming. I believe the NOA will eventually be uploaded online as well as coming in the mail. That being said, she should not leave until her biometrics are completed, or you receive a notice saying biometrics will be re-used. Good Luck! If I file Form I-131 to get a reentry permit while I am in the United States, will USCIS deny the Form I-131 if I leave the United States while the form is still pending? We recommend that you file Form I-131 while you are in the United States. However, you do not have to be in the United States for USCIS to approve your Form I-131 and issue a reentry permit to you if your biometrics (photo, fingerprints) have been obtained. You can indicate on your Form I-131 that you want USCIS to send your reentry permit to a U.S. Embassy, consulate or a DHS office overseas, so you can pick it up from one of those facilities. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/guides/B5en.pdf
  23. Didn’t Ruth Bader Ginsberg dabble in political rhetoric quite often? I believe Sotomayor also showed her extreme leftist proclivities on a couple of occasions. We also have the judge in the Trump case that has a daughter who has earned millions off the extreme left candidates. I don’t seem to remember them recusing themselves in any case that had a partisan tendency. I guess it only applies to one side.
