  1. I suspect the judgement was so that this judge gets himself invited to the right parties in NYC.
  2. Not to worry, Fani hit all the Leftist talking points, racism, democracy, empowered, etc. But you would be proud, she was quite petulant on the stand. Heck, even legal analysts on far Left MSNBC are saying she will have a tough time getting over this, but I know she is a female embodiment of Jack Smith right. Listening to Wade's testimony makes me think Fani is not very smart hiring him to handle this major RICO farce of a case.
  3. Yes, conflict of interest as in paying your boyfriend from the public funds and getting something in return. Seems pretty clear, and now Fani may face lying to the courts in the future.
  4. Your tax obligation is April 15th. There is no immigration related reason that requires you to file. If you do file your taxes, you can update your I864 and give it to your parents when they have their interview. Good Luck!
  5. I love how you label it. So you are fine with elected officials mis-using public funds?
  6. Yep, the DC illuminati must circle the wagon to protect the special.
  7. Based on the content of this ad, I can see the Biden duo of Old Corrupt Petulant Joe, and Dr. First Lady, Dr. Jill thought this one up. How does no one see Joe's absolute racism? Awkward: Joe Biden Brings Fried Chicken to Black Family in North Carolina Doesn't that look a little racist? He brought fried chicken for the family but a hamburger for himself. Was there no watermelon for sale to bring along, too? Geez. Why not hamburgers for everyone? We're talking about two teenage males here. They love hamburgers. Remember when Donald Trump's White House set out a spread of hamburgers and fries from various fast food places and Domino's pizza on silver platters to celebrate when the Clemson University football team came to the White House to celebrate their championship? The left went nuts. How dare he? It was an untraditional choice but the team loved it. So, here we are with Joe Biden stopping off at a Cook Out restaurant with North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. They ordered food and milkshakes, a signature of the chain. Biden delivered the meals to the Fitts family. Eric Fitts and his two teenage sons, Christian and Carter, are shown in a video released by the Biden campaign this week eating fried chicken with the president. Biden makes a point of saying he ordered himself a hamburger. There is no sign of Governor Cooper in the video and I can only assume that he is more aware of optics than Team Biden. Good Lord. https://hotair.com/karen-townsend/2024/02/14/awkward-joe-biden-brings-fried-chicken-to-black-family-in-north-carolina-n3782931
  8. I think he is except short of creating breeding farms, people are just not listening to him.
  9. This is not really surprising as when government's try their hands at social engineering (read as "progress") they usually fail miserably. Seems to be a similar situation going on in the DPRK. https://www.dailynk.com/english/three-n-koreans-help-explain-their-countrys-declining-birth-rate/
  10. Great piece on the "progress" made in US universities. It might be time to dismantle the system considering what they have become. It's Time to Upend the Modern University The Center for American Institutions at Arizona State University recently put forward some policy recommendations that should be closely considered by every state legislature in the country. The recommendations were part of a detailed report, “The Study of American History in Our Universities.” The findings of the report were damning: they revealed an overwhelming, disproportionate emphasis on teaching the negative aspects of American history. But pertinent to the question of reforming the university, the report included several policy recommendations. First, the report calls for educational transparency. All course syllabi should be publicly available and easily accessible. Most syllabi at most public universities are not available to anyone outside the university. Americans should know how their tax dollars are being used in the classroom. Second, the report calls for administrators and regents to insist on broader faculty searches that are not aimed exclusively at attracting highly ideological, left-wing candidates. State legislatures could also write this requirement into law. Lastly, the report recommends upending the hardened disciplines within the humanities and social sciences through the creation of multi-disciplinary departments, schools, and colleges within the university, complete with expansive curricula to encourage dialogue across the disciplines and to foster greater intellectual diversity among the faculty. https://www.realcleareducation.com/articles/2024/02/12/its_time_to_upend_the_modern_university_1011276.html
  11. There is no official deadline as to AOSing after a K1 marriage, but the general recommendation you will find here on VJ among most members is to try and do it within the 90 days if possible. As @Redro posted, there are possible issues although they are quite rare. That being said, the best thing for you is to get the AOS package in as soon as possible. Good Luck!
  12. This may be helpful. Good Luck! https://www.uscis.gov/adoption/bringing-your-internationally-adopted-child-to-the-united-states https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/how-bring-your-adopted-child-the-us.html
  13. Depends as this is a bit of a grey area, but to be safe, probably best to not do it. Good Luck! https://www.nationofimmigrators.com/2012/06/immigration-lawyers-arguing-can-i-work-from-home-for-a-foreign-employer/
  14. No, the divorce decree will be the proof your fiancé is free to marry. A death certificate of the former spouse would only be needed if the marriage had ended due to the death. Good Luck!
  15. I am not sure about the waiting, but honestly it seems you already have been waiting quite some time. If your wife formally requests an expedite based on her medical condition, yes, she should include proof of that condition from her Dr. Good Luck!
  16. This may help. If the consulate is requesting more information on any of the forms they gave you, you mentioned the DS5535, complete those as quickly as possible. https://www.path2usa.com/blog/all-about-221g/ No real way for any of us to know this answer. Submit any information requested as soon as possible. She may be able to request an expedit based on her illness. She can also contact her Senator or U.S. House Representative. https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-1-part-a-chapter-5#:~:text=In the context of an expedite request%2C humanitarian, medical treatment in a limited amount of time. No. Who knows. It might be due to lack of cooperation from your current government, or just difficulty in completing it. You wife could request an expedite (see above). There is not much you can do as far as I know. Good Luck, and hopefully your AP will be shorter than average.
  17. I don’t disagree with his take on NATO, but his timing is horrible. He needs to keep the focus on the current corrupt senile petulant occupant in the WH.
  18. Current wait times in Jakarta for a B2 is 10 calendar days. That being said, I agree, if family members want to try and get a B2, there is no reason they should not start that process now.
  19. Now tell me, why in the heck did Trump go out there and start hammering Nato, and the Swift/Kelce thing? Sometimes Trump does not know how to get out of his own way.
  20. Why are Democrats so insistent with re-defining words?
  21. With that the case, I would answer "no" on your own DS160.
  22. If this were me, I would answer no since your family members do not have their B2's in hand right now. If they do get B2's prior to your K1 interview, you can discuss that with the consulate officer conducting your interview and change it is needed. Be very careful with any engagement parties, or religious engagement ceremonies that can look like some form of wedding when you are applying for a K1. In general you should be fine, but make sure it looks like an engagement ceremony, and not a wedding. Good Luck!
