Yes you have to. Because it will give u barcode with number tthen u take it to bank and make a payment for ur interview.  I believe the bank will again give u a different number that u can use to schedule ur interview.

Using the DHL Hack, our case was delivered in London today 

got an email from the embassy saying the visa was approved and will be delivered in 2-3 days!

I filled cr-1 back in 2013,  now i am a USC using my old profile.
I am  filling K1 for my fiancee.

We got approved today! 

My fiancee phoned me at 1am UK time last night. I was at first pretty dazed and confused at being woken up, this made its way into mild panic that something bad must have happened. Turns out she had got home from work to find our NOA2 waiting for her!
 
We've both been having a bit of a rough time at our respective jobs recently and this good news has really lifted us. I couldn't get back to sleep until after 2am. I'm tired today, but I've got a big smile on my face!
 
Elise is visiting the UK over New Year, so hopefully NVC processing will happen before/during her visit and we'll have another milestone to celebrate!

Her interview was today at the Rio de Janeiro consulate. It wasn't as I had heard would be. She told me that she showed up and gave them the documents, then they gave her a number. They reviewed these documents in a different room from her, where she was waiting with other people. Eventually she was called to a window and told she was approved. So it wasn't an "interview" at all in the regular sense of the word.
But I'm obviously super excited. Total time between I129f being received and today was just over 13 months.

Ours is in transit as well. I didn't receive an email yet...

Spent a long weekend together and tried to get our minds off of the whole process and woke up on Saturday to a notification that we got our NOA2 on Friday 11/22  was a really great moment to be able to share together

Just saw our NOA2 approval this evening on the old website! NOA1 was 29 July. Stills feel a little surreal until we get the letter in the mail. This is a great start to the weekend for us 😊 good luck to everyone else waiting for their NOA2. 

What was approved? The I-129F petition or the actual visa?

Hi everyone, i registered USCIS government system to check my my case closely and i picked my fiances username because i thought i will be using this system for my greencard and naturalization in future as married person. But now my fiance and i are on k1 visa process and not married yet, we both are single.
I have heard that if uscis or consular officer thinks that you are married they immediately reject your visa, do you know if they think we got married before k1 visa is approved because i used my fiances surname? Do they check my username on uscis system?  I am worried about that, please help.

I didn't want to post anything until my fiancé gets the hard copy... but I checked yesterday (11/21), and according to the old website, we got approved on 11/19! Finally!!! 146 days from received date. New website hasn't updated yet though.
 
Makes me anxious waiting for the NOA2 hard copy, but I'm claiming it 😂

We completed our DS-160 last night. Working on gathering up all the required documents. My fiance is doing her police background check, etc, etc. Exciting times!
