An immigrating IR1/CR1 will not get an I-94
I'd find a new moving company. The endorsed visa IS a green card.

We you have 10 years to move your stuff so I'm not sure how telling them your current residency status would harm, but maybe make sure you give them "residence since" date?

ricnally got a reaction from VeeNDee in So about that 6 month "quarintine" after entry into the US...
Further clarification: after you enter on a K1, you can't leave until you get AP. So it's 60- 90 days after applying for AOS (and AP and EAD) but you also have to add the time from when you enter until you get married (and receive the marriage certificate, which you need in order to apply for AOS).

She is an adult and she should fight her battles. You can advice her, you can support her, you can help her navigate the waters of a foreign legal system. But "speaking for her" seems excessive to me.
Also, she accepted being put in a lesser position, so legally that would mean something. Personally, I would not perform a job that I was not originally interested in - less alone a "lesser" job, as you call it.
I hope this is ressolved in a positive manner for her.

I'm an insurance broker here in Canada, so while I can't speak to the specifics the State you're moving to uses.... best thing I can tell you is to call your current insurance company and request a Letter of Experience. Get one for each company you've been insured with for at least 5, if not 7 years back. This will show your US Insurance company your history of accidents/claims.
Also get your Driver's License History from your Ministry of Transportation. This will show how long you have been licensed and history of tickets, and if you had Driver's Ed at a licensed facility.
These are things we ask our clients for when they are coming from the US to Canada. Often times (not always) these reports will allow the new company to give you credit for your history so you're not treated like a brand new driver.
    Best wishes!!

No. Intent alone is not a reason for AOS denial. Getting married and staying is fine too.
There are plenty of others that did it before, on tourist visas, Canadian visitors, VWP entrants, student and work visa holders alike. They were not lucky. It is the law. It is perfectly legal to do so.

you do not need to pay cash for any of the vaccinations.
You can go to a walk in even and ask for a titre test (basically a test to show your immunity) to mumps, measles, rubella, varicella (but they accept a verbal chicken pox declaration), and just get a Tdap if you don't remember the last time you had one from your local health clinic. If any of the tests show you do not have immunity you can get the vaccination for free at the health clinic. The Tdap should be free as well. The only one that would cost any money may be the varicella. You only need MMR, TDaP, and Varicella (chicken pox.)

Oh boy, here we go again (this comes up a lot on VJ). It's not legal for her to come and help you with your child while on a tourist visa. If they ask her about it at POE and she tells them the truth, she'll be denied. If she lies, she'll be in trouble.

I have linked Canadian and US bank accts through RBC. They do the transfers for free but you have to go with their exchange rate. For a really large amount, I used Canadian Forex. So RBC Canada to Canadian Forex to RBC US. There was a $15 wire fee for the Forex to US RBC part, but it seemed reasonable for the amount I was exchanging.

Also bear in mind that you need your marriage certificate in order to apply for AOS. Some places take several weeks to issue it and some places you can get it on the same day you get married. Make sure to find out about that at your County Clerk's office (or whatever authority applies where you live), if you're in a hurry to get the ball rolling on the AOS.

What you are calling an "original" IS actually a certified copy. The true "original" is kept at the office that issued it. The thing you have is exactly what you need for the interview.
