wilfon got a reaction from km&mn in Approved after 206 days - VSC July Filer
We got approved today after 206 days at VSC. We received our NOA1 on July 23 and I just called USCIS this morning and Samantha (The Representative) gave us (My fiance was on the cam listening) the good news.
Good luck to everyone who is still waiting. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone as well. Thank you Jesus. He always takes care of us.

wilfon got a reaction from VanessaTony in Letter of intent
I would wait and see if you get an RFE, and if you do send it in at that time. I would also go over your entire package that was initially sent it. If your lawyer doesn't even know that Letter Of Intent is a requirement, it makes me wonder what else they forgot. If you do get an RFE, I would have long talk with your lawyer about getting some of your funds back because of his/her incompetence. Good luck

You are correct. I only had one visit to my fiance. I wasn't able to make another trip, but everything went extremely well. They only asked her few questions and NONE of the questions were about me. I was only there on my visit for 7 days. You will not have any problems. Good luck to you

Hi this is an official US government website link:
http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_3272.html
Just click on the country that is needed, then scroll down to where it says police clearance. It will tell you the proper procedure to get the records. I hope this helps. Good luck

wilfon got a reaction from CarlosAndSveta in Asking for advice....Having a baby soon.
I wouldn't worry too much, babies are like sponges and pick up on languages much better than older kids or adults. Speak English to your spouse and speak your native language to your baby. You can give your spouse a lesson at the same time if he would like..hehehe. Good luck

wilfon got a reaction from DeniseD in AFTER 238 DAYS OF WAITING...I RECIEVE AN RFE!! (Thanks Vermont!!)
That stinks, sorry to hear that. At least you will know soon exactly what they need and you can provide it to them and get your NOA2 soon. It would be nice if they would let you know exactly what they need immediately instead of having to wait for a hard copy to find out. These service centers could make the process a lot better if they update some of their procedures.

wilfon got a reaction from nunya business in Guys you have got to read this
This is definitely NOT right and it is so unfair to us who are doing the right thing. It is so discouraging to know that we are put on the hold so that people who have done things illegaly can be processed so quickly.
I haven't seen my baby since July and wish that this process would speed up. Good luck to us all

wilfon got a reaction from Lemonslice in Police reports for countries you live in for longer than 6 or 12 months?
Hi, here is an official government website that will help you. Just click on the country and scroll down until you see police clearance. It will tell you if you are able to obtain a police clearance from that country - sometimes the police clearance is not available unless you are physically in the country. If it states that it is not available unless physically there, then print out the entire page that states this as proof when you go to your interview because sometimes the Intervier/CO doesn't know of this or just doesn't care and will say that you need the police clearance. This way you can show him/her your proof. My fiance printed this because she is not physically in one country that she worked and she applied for a police clearance to a different country and received it in about 3-4 weeks.
Good luck, I hope this helps.

Hi, do yourself a favor and print out that is says the Police clearance is not available if you are not physically in the country. I have read where some people were given a 221g even though it clearly states on the website that it is unavailable. Some CO's are either unaware or just want to give some people a hard time. Play it safe and print it all out to submit to them if they say that you need it. Good luck

wilfon got a reaction from Faithful2012 in What's the difference again?
Hi, we included the required forms, pictures of us together with information of picture and date on back of pictures. We also included copies of flight information, hotel information, receipts from everything, no matter how big or small it is, picture of engagement ring receipts, chat logs, emails, phone records. Make sure you have a brief summary of how you and your fiance met and how your relationship has evolved for question #18 and proof of ongoing relationship. Don't forget the letters of intent to marry from both of you.
I hope this helps. Good luck

Good luck my man, I was also very excited of meeting my fiance's family. They treated me as part of the family immediately. They made me feel so welcome. I am so proud to have them as my family now. I am sure they will appreciate anything that you give them. I brought her family t-shirts, hats, candy, chocolate. They loved everything. They will be so proud that you thought of them. Have fun.
