Your visa is valid for six months from the date of your medical. You can use it any time before it expires and you won't have any problems at the border.
From being "issued" its any where within 7-10 business days before the visa shows up at your door. More patience is needed and keep checking 2GO's website for updates. And take precautions for the stroke. Good luck!
Visa don't come via mail in Philippines
Delivery by 2Go or you can request pick up at Mall of Asia in Manila
It time to call 2Go and see where the visa is? If going outside Manila you can ask them to leave it at a 2Go office and you can pick it up there or have it delivered.......
I would start by reading the guides.
You can assume that the process will take a year or so, you have plenty of opportunity to build your case during that time.
You can not start the process until you are married, and the Consulate only come intt he equation at the very end.
Get married in a courthouse within the 90 days, then have the big ceremony and reception with your family and friends when you are ready. Lots of people do it this way.
I KNOW people will correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that once you adjust your status AND have your green card in hand, you can come and go as you please. When people send in their AOS in a timely manner, they can also get an Advance Parole (AP) card, which allows them to re-enter the US before they have their green card in hand. You have been out of status for too long to now qualify for an AP card. You will have to send in your AOS forms, then wait for the Green Card to get to you before you can leave AND re-enter the US.
For sure not cultural, it happens to me when I get busy and don't think about lunch or whatever, I can be just fine then it's like I hit a wall or whatever, I get the shakes even.... I want to eat NOW!!
My wife is much like that as well.... maybe I caught from her....
No you do not have to go back to the Phils, in fact I suggest you do not go back to the Philippines as you won't be allowed to exit the Philippines until you have completed CFO. Just fly to the USA then if you want to fly back after you have your green card there will be no issues.
So when you sent your request in your petition was at desk A . They stopped your petition to look at your request, all the other petitions continued on. They looked and your file and denied to expediat your petition and returned it to desk A, The rest of the petitions you were with are at C but you are now at A still. This is the penalty for filing a expediate that doesn't meet the criteria.
There's a time and place for everything.......
Most case's are easily done without one. I feel sorry for anyone who had a bad experience with their lawyer, but the attorney didn't choose them, they chose the attorney, so who's fault is it really?
You are in the progress report forum. This is where people, you know, post their progress. Simply ignore it if you don't like it, but everyone has the right to celebrate when they get their petition approved or have their visa granted. Everyone here is after the same goal.
Manila Embassy:
NOW THAT YOU HAVE YOUR MNL # (don't need to wait for the letter from the embassy )
(NOTE: When getting NSO certified copies of your Birth Certificate get 4 - 6 extra copies for bringing to the States with you. You will need them from time to time)

Once you have your MNL # :
You can pay your nonimmigrant visa application fee with cash or debit card at any Bank of Philippine Islands. Before going to the bank, you must print the applicable U.S. visa application deposit slip available
below on this page. Take the printed deposit slip with you to pay your fee. If you print a deposit slip in advance of the day in which you plan to make your payment, please take note of the expiration date on the
deposit slip. If the expiration date passes prior to using the slip to make your payment, simply return to this site and re-click the appropriate link below to generate a new deposit slip. Bank agents will NOT accept
payments based on expired deposit slips. Upon receiving of your payment, bank will issue you a receipt. Save your receipt. It cannot be replaced if it is lost. You will not be able to schedule an appointment without
your receipt number.

Select the deposit slip that matches your visa application fee from the list below. Values are shown in U.S. dollars and native currency. This page has more information about the different visa application fees.
http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visafeeinfo.asp
For K-1 the fee is $240
After you have paid the visa application fee, keep the BANK receipt for your records. It cannot be replaced if it is lost. You will not be able to schedule an appointment without your receipt number.
If you have an account with either Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI) or BancNet you may choose to pay your visa application fee online using their online bill pay services. Click on either of the links below if you
are a BPI or BancNet customer and wish to make an online payment.
If you are paying for more than one applicant, please DO NOT make a lump sum payment for all the applicants. A UID/receipt number is required for each visa application fee payment for EACH applicant for
scheduling an appointment. After you have paid the visa application fee, please keep the fee receipt for your records.
Receipt Format
Note: If you have a Bank of Philippine Islands receipt, your fee receipt number should be your passport number. If something other than your passport number appears in the circled area on the graphic, use that
information as your receipt number. This receipt number verifies your payment and allows you to schedule your visa interview
When scheduling online with the embassy you need to include the "XX" at the beginning.
Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was accepted.
Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other (maybe, they might mail the interview letter) for the embassy.

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together, from USC - bio page of
passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.

Think very hard before you bring a bar girl here, you are playing with fire. A bar girl has to be the most degrading thing a girl could possibly do, it will scar her for life not to mention the feelings you might keep from it. You have to do what makes you happy at the end of the day but I'm sure you can find a girl who has not done something like that. For those of you unsure what a bar girl is you can google it. I've met "good girls" that got visas and came here and became strippers, but they would never consider being a bar girl. Because their society placed the bar so low, stripping is not all that bad in their head. Please for your own sake think very hard before you do something like that, it may sound good now but it will most likely not end well.
It's comical the people we try and help, the people that kill everyday for their so called god.....all religion is a fairy tale and the only thing that makes yours right is where you are born and what your family believes.......come home and let them all kill each other the same way they have been for thousands of years.
