Once he is in removal proceedings, which, presumably, an order of supervision is the precursor to, he would need to have the immigration judge terminate those before he was eligible to file for AoS.
I would talk to another lawyer, and ideally several.

None; an LPR is not required to show any passport when re-entering the US, only their green card.

They will get caught and their GCs will get taken away. By entering the US as a visitor (by using their Norway passports) they have effectively shown that they are no longer Permanent Residents. PRs do not travel as tourists. Traveling as a tourists was the dumbest thing they could have done. Their PR status might already be revoked already. Holding a GC card is not always the same as being a LPR. The card could be invalidated at any time.

Nobody here is trying to be rude - rather, we're trying to be realistic. If anything, the response given by the OP after getting answers she didn't want to hear is the rudest thing anyone's said here yet. By all means, OP can call and email and contact all the people she wants, but there is merely no way to circumnavigate AP, and once it's begun there's no way to speed it up or get out of it. You just have to wait until the IV unit has finished doing whatever processing they need to do, at which point you'll be contacted. Until then, there's is very little that can be done apart from checking in at the embassy/consulate every so often. I wish the OP a speedy end to her AP predicament, all the same, but there's nothing to do but wait. That's reality, and if that's rude, then so be it.

Based on this, you need to leave the US and file for a CR-1 visa (you can file before you leave or after).
Once you leave you will most likely get a 10 year ban.
The I-130 will be denied because of the ban, and you will then need to file for an extreme hardship waiver which may or may not be approved.
There is no way for you to legally remain in the US at this time. You need to leave the country.
Also, prepare to explain your relationship. USCIS will most likely assume that you used your K1 to get to the US to marry this guy, or that you married this guy just to remain in the US, not realising you couldn't.

That lawyer is telling you to commit visa fraud and saying you will be fine and it is OK to do it. It is not ok. You should not use this lawyer, she should be reported for this.
You can come visit in the USA and get married yes, but you have to go home after your visit is over and then file the I-130.

Well - if your wife does not go, you will be denied. But if you have been separated for last 9 years, trying to adjust the status based on marriage is pure fraud anyway.

Quite true - but it cannot be inadvertantly used as proof of citizenship in that it specifically states that they are a US National, and not a citizen. Endorsement code 9 "THE BEARER IS A UNITED STATES NATIONAL AND NOT A UNITED STATES CITIZEN".

No, that's incorrect. The fact that your I-130 was approved after sending an I-129F is a coincidence. There are hundreds of other cases who have filed both and have been waiting for months and months. Please don't spread false information.

Ask to talk to a supervisor. Most people are morons; the post office is no different.
I would not expect them to be cognizant of the many nuances in immigration law. I'm sure if you wanted their opinion as to whether your children are US citizens then you would have asked them for it.
You may also want to contact the State Department and inform them of your difficulties in applying for a passport.

To petition your mother you have to be an US citizen.
You can't do that as a LPR (Legal Permanent Resident).

That is the case now, but 20-odd years ago they used to hand them out like confetti.
Tourists could easily obtain them back then because the SSA did few / no checks into people who applied for them. It's very much different today.

To be clear: her future in the US is in grave peril. Falsely claiming US citizenship is just about the worst possible thing she could do in terms of immigration consequences. You need a top notch lawyer. Many don't have what it takes. Choose one with a great track record and directly relevant experience - don't choose one just because her brother used him/her and they seemed to do okay with that case.

Hypnos got a reaction from user19000 in Urgent Question about my situation please
VJ is predominantly a self-help community ("How do I fill in this form? What documents are required for an X visa?").
Your title said you have an "urgent" question, but you are the US citizen and have already divorced someone you perceived to be scamming you for a green card, so why do you care anymore? Your interest in the situation is ended.
If you truly believe that you were scammed for a green card - and you have evidence supporting this - then send ICE a certified letter with his alien number and the proof that you were a victim of his deception.
What he does or doesn't do is on him, and stalking him over it will only bring you pain and suffering in the long run.
