You can report this to USCIS.  A crime of CIMT committed within 5 years after admission is deportable.  You know his case number, write a letter to USCIS with a copy of the letter from CPS, and mail it to them - Express Mail

Okay let me play the devils advocate since you want to blame the pandemic on Immigration.
You say you visited 4 times already so why haven't you filed yet? You could have filed K1 long ago and been in the queue maybe even approved at USCIS? I always wonder why people blame immigration for their indecisiveness. Which is your Bobby Brown prerogative, but hardly Immigration fault if things go south. Things change on a dime in immigration and you never known.
What has the Department of State done with all that money they hired over 4000 folks to be assigned to varies embassies around the world. But guess what they need to be trained.
There is no fast track to getting a visa or green card if it was we all would have been doing it or advising others to do so.

Thank you TBoneTX I was so confused seeing Mexico City like ummm not open to K1's.

Well OP you can sit here and argue the point or find out what you need to do by going through the steps. NVC has given you any and all that they will give you. There's nothing to sue them over. You could be completing your DS-160 paying you Visa fee then that will allow you to access the calendar to schedule your interview. Time is really ticking the sooner you get in there the sooner you can find a date

That's not NVC. WAC California Service Center and that's USCIS.

    1.  Please create a VJ timeline.
    2.  The consulate for K-1 (and CR-1) visa interviews is in Ciudad Juarez, not Mexico City.
    3.  Every response to you is correct.  For I-129F/K-1, the NVC is merely a "whistle-stop" for the petition.

    4.  Your success throughout this immigration process depends on your reading accurately, interpreting literally, and responding completely & accurately.  Become an "A" student of every step of this journey, or you risk hampering or outright hosing your situation.  It's clear that some intense up-catching is urgently necessary.  Members here who are willing to help you (as opposed to stating the obvious and leading you by the nose) will appreciate it.  It's in this way that the forum will prove most valuable to you.

Why would we be mad at USCIS. In 2006 and before this use to be a 6 to 8 year process. Why would you be mad about our entire world changing and trying to get back to a new normal. Nothing is how it was pre March 2020. So why would you think t would be for Immigration. Yes they can do a heck of alot more to better things. Making things more efficient no doubt faster probably. But that's management and well hard to do twice the work with half the staff.
It's just unnerving to me t hear someone who has not even filed already complaining when one of my dear friends just got approved at Visa interview with her child today after waiting 4 years in Nigeria. We not mad we celebrate. Especially when it's an approval in Lagos. And I know Lagos for real.  It's pure joy.🥳

The visitor visa calendar is in July 2024 now so that's the soonest appointment is available.. Then there's the likelihood of being approved is slim.
The process from filing to interview expect 3 years and more. The back log now just waiting for interview from DQ at NVC to interview assigned is 16 to 20 months. It's 8 months to over a year wait for approval at USCIS. No short thing.
I would plan the wedding in 9ja or any other 3rd country that Nigerians don;t need Visas.

Also biometrics are done at the interview. And medical must be done in country of interview.

no the wait is the wait. The world including Immigration is still recovering you know. Most of the K1's for Nigeria filed last year and just getting approved but now waiting at NVC for case#'s. The backlog is real and great .

What you mean by Immigration filing history? What's that?
