When to expect new SS card after N400 approval?

Hi guys, I got approval of my n400 on July 24th but I didnt receive my new ss card yet. I did choose to have it automatically updated for me. Any thoughts would be appreciated! 🤓

you will need to make SS office appointment and process the change as USCIS and SS quit this

However, as of early 2025, this automatic communication has been suspended. The SSA has temporarily paused the Enumeration Beyond Entry (EBE) program, which facilitated the automatic issuance and updating of SSNs for certain immigration applicants

I naturalized a bit earlier this year.

The checkbox on N-400 doesn't work!

After waiting for over a month I went to SSA to update status. You need an appointment.

Make an appt at the SS office and update it there. They are not being updated and sent it used to be.

Thank you guys! I processed my passport first assuming my ss will be sent automatically. Will wait for my certificate then schedule an ss appointment. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

You can actually do it with US passport now. I didn't have to show the certificate.
