What do you mean?   That affidavit isn’t a thing in the U.S.

 

If that is a special requirement of the Chinese government, you should ask a mod to move your thread to the China forum.

This is from the US Embassy & Consulate's in China

 

• An “affidavit of marriageability.” You can get this document  at the Embassy or Consulate by swearing or affirming before a Consul that you are legally free to marry. You must make an appointment for a notarial service to get this affidavit, and there is a $50 charge. If either party was previously married, bring a clear photocopy of either the divorce or annulment decree or the death certificate which shows how the marriage ended. If you present an original certified copy with the copy for their review, the Chinese authorities will usually accept the copy.  Hold on to your original documents, since they may be required if you later wish to file an immigrant visa petition for your spouse. Note: In order to complete your affidavit of marriageability correctly, you are highly recommended to bring a photocopy of your Chinese fiancé’s ID card (Shen Fen Zheng 身份证).”

I had to have something like that when we married in Taiwan.  I signed a sworn statement at the AIT ("American Consulate") in Taiwan.   That's about all you can do, imo.  Country specific procedures may vary.

You get something different at a US Embassy or Consulate in China.  What you need to know is found here

Im hoping to head to china to remarry ex wife and to process I130 will also be brining her daughter pending her chinese dads aproval. what im needing are needed documents to marry in china, One such document is the certificate of single status, I have no idea where to get this?

Contact the nearest U.S. consulate in China, they should be able to help.

What went wrong with the online marriage service? I am assuming you mean Utah online marriage?

We could help you with this if you still think you want to go that route. 

 

If not you will most likely have to make an appointment with the US Embassy/Consulate in China to obtain the correct documents to marry in China.

Utah online did not work cus Chinese wife could not get the Teams,Zoom none of these platforms worked could not sign into, i want this affidavit before i leave in march. there has to be a way to obtain here in the states i was only going to  Beijing is the a place there?

I need to get this and where in Bejing can i go to get this or im in South Dakota where in the states can i aquire, I tried doing the UTAH on line but Chinese wife to be could not connect at all to any of the programs used ex zoom, Team. 

Also what form is used mostly to get a visa?
