I am sure everyone can see the new update on USCIS account showing estimated time for USCIS to make a decision on case. Is this a useful timeline? Or is it just one of those things?

Where do you think this info is from?

Should we take it seriously?

It is nothing else then the estimated processing time of your category minus the time you have already waited since submitting. No individual factors are taken into account here.

Consider it as your personal countdown. Handy, since the processing times for your service center might change over time.

OP said that everyone can see it the new timeline. OP did not say it affected everyone.

Not sure what your point is or if maybe you missed mine.
I never said OP meant it affected everyone. All I said is that if by “everyone” OP means all CR1 applicants, then by all means. However, “everyone” does not mean applicants for immigration benefits in general. Obviously removal of conditions is not a priority for USCIS because we don’t have any timeline to see.
Have a great day!

The data is from previously processed cases.

It's like a sign on a highway that an exit for I-95 is 10 miles away and it will take 12 minutes to get there.

I'd take it seriously but be prepared for it to grow. You may get an RFE - a couple of extra months over a missed checkbox.

I think something has gone wrong here. Unless its different in Nigeria, I got my interview date 3 days after DQ, and my interview will be 2 months after DQ.

I think you should submit an inquiry, this does not sound right.
