How should I do that? Wouldn't doing that interfere on their decision and make them deny my case?

You cannot / shouldn't do it on your own. You would consult a knowledgable immigration lawyer, who would look into your case and determine whether it's strong enough for suing the USCIS. There's not much intereference, do you think they've been actively working on your case for the last 5 years? I don't think so. Your file is likely sitting on a shelf somewhere and an IO may occasionally open it for a second, and immidiately decide to put it away for another 6 months because cannot be bothered to figure your case out. If your case is weak, it will be denied either sooner (after suing) or later (when they finally get to it). If it's strong, then you'll get your interview and/or approval soon after suing.

Need your prayers guys. I finally sent my i-601 waiver . It took me almost 3 months to gather proofs for i-601.

As a reminder : I had 204c fraud on i130. Received NOID on i360 because of that 204c. Responded to NOID and i360 approved. Went for i485 interview last august and received a notice to submit i-601 waiver. Just sent the waiver and hopefully I get my green card.

You will get your approval, no fear. If you can overcome a 204c , then I am confident you put together a good hardship waiver.

Is there anyone here with a pending case since 2017?

Mine is pending since 2017 and I've made multiple requests, sent letter,  my congressman contacted them and they said my casa is still under review and saying that they are backlogged due COVID but even before covid my case was already late..

Any suggestions? What else can I do?

Thank you 🙏

Hello everyone

I have a Q

so my 360 petition’s receipt notice and the 360 approval both have the info “Vermont service center US citizenship and immigration SVC”

but my 824 receipt notice has “Department of Homeland security - Vermont service center”

why does my 824 say department of homeland security as the address? Does this mean my 824 is currently at the department of homeland security?

I just want to make sense of this confusing process and what office actually has my form because the documents I received from them have different titles and addresses

I filed the i824 in June 2022, I didn't receive a receipt after 2 months so I contacted my congresswoman who inquired on my behalf.  I was then sent a receipt in August 2022 with receipt date of August 2022. I824 was approved Oct. 18, 2022. Still haven't received the welcome letter from NVC. Was told to wait 30days for it.

After i824 approval what next? I will be applying for my kids as well

Wednesday!    Time for our Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke!

===============================================

THE HUMAN LIGHT BULB

Two blondes were working in a warehouse.  One blonde, tired of working, said to the other, "Watch this -- I'm going to act crazy so that the boss will send me home."

She climbed up the racking and hung from the rafters, yelling, "I'm a light bulb, I'm a light bulb, I'm a light bulb!"

"What are you doing?!  Get down from there and GO HOME!" yelled the boss.

The second blonde picked up her tool bag and also headed toward the door.  "Where do you think YOU'RE going?" asked the boss.

"What?!  I can't be expected to work in the dark!"

Hello all,

is anyone who updates address after got the green card under VAWA? Can just submit the online tools at USCIS? Or need to write AR -11 mail to VSC ?

thank you!

I have mailed AR-11 to VSC but they rejected to update my address. They asked me to use online or call to update address…. I feel confused.
