Passed US board exam of Dental Hygiene. How to get job and work in US now?

Not a work visa, no obvious likely category.

 

Green Card, well you have to have a basis, on here Marriage is the most common one so depends on what basis you have to apply.

Yes, you must have valid work authorization (such as a work visa or a green card) from the US government.  You need a qualified sponsor to get either one.

H1B- probably but unlikely for dental hygienist

OP, it seems you need to go a bit higher like a dentist or sth requiring a 4 year degree course if you want to work in the US and get. GC with some luck.

 

Another way is if you can find a USC or an LPR the love of your life.

Once you get your work authorization or green card, you will need to take a state licensing exam or perhaps a regional exam that covers several states.  The dental licensing has changed a bit here in Florida over the last several years.  I am not familiar with an American board exam unless you are talking about the written exam.  Did you also take an exam on live patients?

 

If it works out for you let me know as my son in law and I are both in need of dental hygienists (we are both dentists).  Probably the same in most states.

If at first you don't succeed, then sky diving is not for you.

Dental hygienists most definitely need a degree.   Perhaps you are thinking of dental assistant.

I just looked and it seems to be Associate.

Actually, some states allow (or used to allow) diploma Nurses from accredited diploma programs to practice as Registered Nurses if they meet all other requirements.

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Last I checked "International Graduates" for nursing licensure needed a BSN

 

But it's been a few years since I dealt with all the International Licensure and NCLEX stuff
