Your husband needs to get comfortable with the computer and/or forms.

IF he isn't make sure you hire someone to help you fill everything out and explain everything.

OR you can take the lead... research everything and explain it to your husband.

If you are not in the same country make sure you go through all the forms together online.

Make sure you agree on the evidence you submit.

Part of the evidence for filing an I-130 is showing bonafide relationship. Make sure you both agree on the relationship evidence you submit.

I think if your husband petitions your daughter you need to upload evidence they know each other. But, I could be wrong.

Yes, I agree with all u say. I plan to be involved every step of the way, I will be the one doing research. He knows my daughter and love her like his own and we have plenty of evidence since we are in the states on summer and Christmas time

Not now, traveling in 5 weeks but it’s a very quick trip so I won’t be able to get much done. We are normally there for the whole summer but I started a new job that won’t give me much time this year

Maybe work through gathering all the required information you need for both I130s referencing the I130 instructions (the I130A is self explanatory for you), scan and convert these documents to PDFs and have them ready to help your spouse file everything online.  The online form is fairly easy, my wife and I recently filled one out for her adult married son, and as stated, it is the easier way to file and pay, but there are a few weird things about it like when it asks for his or your current address, it requires a date input even though you are still living there, you can simply put in the date you fill out the form.  Also, you sometimes have to re-enter the name of your current spouse.  When you come and visit next time, you can both work through the forms and get them filed.

Good Luck!

Good idea.
we have nothing joint since I don’t live in the US. I’m worried about what to submit with the i130 as evidence. We have photos, tickets and conversations since we have been together 3 years so I hope that’s enough

Please advise when you filed your i130 what did you use as evidence other than marriage certificate since your spouse live overseas. I was on uscis reading an the only one that could be applicable is the affidavit from person who knows you as a couple. I was just wondering if that is what was done.

Husband and I have been together 4 years and I have visited many times

Affidavits are the weakest form of support.

photos and passport stamps

Great. I have photos, passport stamps, 4 years worth of WhatsApp messages 😂 and flight tickets. Is this strong? We are just trying not to put friends and family members too much in our business but of course we will if we have to
