  1. Thank you so much I was worried but your response helped
  2. I entered on my visitor's visa. They only gave me 2 weeks according to my i-94 so I did overstay. My husband decided he's just gonna send i-485. I was in immigration group and someone asked about that question then I went back to my form and realized I answered wrong
  3. Hello, I filed my I-485 packet and haven't received a confirmation yet. There was a question I misunderstood. It asked if I "have ever violated the term of my nonimmigrant status," I answered no because I thought it meant working here. To be honest I never intended to stay in the US, I have an approved i-130 and on a recent visit my husband insisted I stayed. Has this ever happened to anyone? What was the penalty as I do not want to be fined for lying but I hinestly misunderstood
  4. Hello, My husband filed my I-130 last year and its still pending. on a recent visit we decided to just adjust status and we are now sending our AOS packet. How many passport sized photos should I send with my AOS packet. Sending forms I-485, 131, 765 and 864
  5. I do since I visit the USA. I came back to my country a month ago. when i log into the i94 website and put in my information I do have a number along with when I entered and when I am authorized to stay to. should I put that in this section? P.S, I am the beneficiary, Husband is a USC What is the beneficiary's Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record number? What was the beneficiary's date of arrival? When does the beneficiary's authorized stay expire?
  6. Hello, For beneficiary class of admission do I full this part out and put B2 or leave it blank? I have a visitor's visa and not in the US now but the explanation says: What was the beneficiary's class of admission? The beneficiary's class of admission is the 3-digit code for the immigrant category under which they were granted their permanent resident status. This code can be found on their Permanent Resident Card and usually consists of 1 or 2 letters followed by a number.
  7. Hi, 'I am filling out the i-130 for step child. I selected child when it asked about relationship and selected step child as the description. Now I am getting an error because I didn't attach anything for proof of parent - child relationship even though I added the requested evidence for step parent - stepchild relationship. can someone please advise what I did wrong? I cant find the appropriate video on youtube about filing for a step child
  8. Ok. May I ask what did you attach as evidence?
  9. Yes I understand. I just wanted to hear experiences.
  10. how long did it take to put your i130 packet together when you started?
  11. Thank you. That’s the timeline I was thinking of too because I will be in the states in a few weeks and will be putting the application together. Hoping to finish it before I leave
  12. Wow!!! Which evidence was the hardest to get? I’m here saying I can do everything in a week or 2 for the i130
  13. I understand that. Just wanted to hear some timelines
  14. How long did it take to put your I130 and I130a packet together including filling out the forms and putting evidence together?
  15. Great. I have photos, passport stamps, 4 years worth of WhatsApp messages 😂 and flight tickets. Is this strong? We are just trying not to put friends and family members too much in our business but of course we will if we have to
  16. Please advise when you filed your i130 what did you use as evidence other than marriage certificate since your spouse live overseas. I was on uscis reading an the only one that could be applicable is the affidavit from person who knows you as a couple. I was just wondering if that is what was done. Husband and I have been together 4 years and I have visited many times
  17. I went to visit my now husband in the states for 5 weeks (not my first trip) and we decided to get married. It was not planned so we just did a courthouse wedding. I’m now back in my country and he’s wanting to file the i130. Will it be an issue since we got married in the states on my visit?
  18. Good idea. we have nothing joint since I don’t live in the US. I’m worried about what to submit with the i130 as evidence. We have photos, tickets and conversations since we have been together 3 years so I hope that’s enough
  19. Not now, traveling in 5 weeks but it’s a very quick trip so I won’t be able to get much done. We are normally there for the whole summer but I started a new job that won’t give me much time this year
