Currently my wife and I live in Germany working with the U.S. Military.

So, once my new contract comes through I will be putting her in for Citizenship as per https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-g-chapter-4 .

With that said, we will continue to be living in Germany and we will have to go to the U.S. in the future for her interview and oath ceremony.

I keep seeing on various pages that some USCIS offices offer same day oath ceremony, but no where do I see these offices listed out.

Does anyone know which offices offer Same Day Oath Ceremony.

You cannot window shop. It depends on your Local Field Office

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

I am not sure it works that way since we are overseas.  It's not like we live in Seattle and want to go to an office in San Fran.  We are living near Frankfurt, Germany.    And there is no USCIS officer here in Germany that will do the interview and oath ceremony for non Military.

This one I'm not sure. I'll let others chime in. But I still don't think you can just choose any place you want.

Regardless, I seek to learn on this too. @Boiler any help?

It looks like your I-130 was recently approved.  Is expedited citizenship a benefit for military spouses?

Good luck

From what I read here, USCIS has overseas hubs set up to handle overseas military applications.  It looks like Stuttgart handles those in Europe and they conduct interviews and oath ceremonies there quarterly.

Good Luck!

Actually, Frankfurt does military.  But we are not military.  So we have to go to the states.

Apologies, I did not see that.  Do you still maintain a residence/address in the US?  If so, I expect your spouse's application will be routed to the local office that has jurisdiction over the address you have locally.  The local offices may have procedures on handling those naturalizing from overseas.

I was talking to a college awhile back, and they were able to choose a field office that had same day oath.  The traveled to the US, did the interview, then oath, and then got a new passport in one weeks time.

That may be the case as I am not too familiar with this category.  I did find this relatively recent thread about this topic that might be helpful.  I have not read the entire thread, so YMMV, but if the OPs profile is correct, they are locally in Miami, but did the naturalization process in Dallas.  As an aside, the OP in this thread appears to still be relatively active, so you may want to PM them for more information.

Good Luck!

Was this pre-Covid, by chance?  Covid has very much changed the landscape of everything immigration related.  Even expedited passports have been adversely impacted and can be challenging to obtain.

I did the same thing last January. Had my interview and oath on a Tuesday, got my passport on Friday and went back to Europe on Saturday. For the passport, you need to call and get an emergency appointment two weeks before the date you’re leaving the US.

Washington DC does same day or next day oath. I had mine there a couple of months ago. I really recommend this field office as they are experts on expedited naturalization, they are very helpful and you can communicate with them easily.

This sounds like the best way to go. Plus, it is not a bad place to spend a week to get it all taken care of.
