K1 or cr1? My girlfriend is in us army and we’ve not met in person

Hello everyone! Please I need help. My USC girlfriend is in the army and we’re planning to meet but difficult because of the nature of her job. Please, when we eventually meet, which do you suggest we go for? K1 or should we get married and apply for cr1?  Which are the necessary documents/prove needed?

Every couple has their own priorities, and each couple must decide which visa is better for their situation.

K-1        
    More expensive than CR-1    
    Requires Adjustment of Status after marriage (expensive and requires a lot of paperwork)    
    Spouse can not leave the US until she/he receives approved Advance Parole (approx 6-8 months)    
    Spouse can not work until she/he receives EAD (approx 6-8 months)    
    Some people have had problems with driver licenses, Social Security cards, leases, bank account during this period    
    Spouse will not receive Green Card for many months after Adjustment of Status is filed.
    A denied K-1 is sent back to USCIS to expire
  

CR-1
    Less expensive than K-1    
    No Adjustment of Status(I-485, I-131, I-765) required.    
    Spouse can immediately travel outside the US    
    Spouse is authorized to work immediately upon arrival.    
    Spouse receives Social Security Card and Green Card within 2 or 3 weeks after entering the US    
    Opening a bank account, getting a driver's license, etc. are very easily accomplished with GC, SS card, and passport.

    Spouse has legal permanent Resident status IMMEDIATELY upon entry to US.

Nigeria is considered a high fraud country.  Lagos is very tough consulate.  You will need multiple visits.

Marrying on the 1st meeting is one of the red flag issues for Nigeria

you need to meet first ,  get to know the person in real life as online romance is different than real life romance

 

A joke i read says':  

one dog talking to other dog 

"I met a great female online "

other dog

"so,  what's your problem?"

First dog

"Met her and found out ,  she's a cat"

 

and yes,  the marriage is the best way to go 

but for either petition K1 or CR1 meeting only 1 time is suspect and begs for a denial 

 

this is a lifetime decision ,   get to know each other in person

for Nigeria, she needs to show approval of your family (very important that your mom especially approves)

You will need many more visits in order have a successful outcome at the interview. Also marrying on a first visit will NOT look good in the eyes of the consulate.
