To the “non-citizens” - this OP is correct in that crimes of domestic violence are deportable crimes.  See Section E under “criminal offenses”.

 

This dude has a very low chance of a successful ROC with a DV rap stapled to his application.

Oh forgot to update you guys that the Judge did include Cruelty as Grounds of Divorce on the Divorce Decree. I guess he decided to put it on there in the end. #Thankful👏🙏

Very good news! I did see your original post back when you posted and thought it odd that it wouldn't be written somewhere in the decree. Glad to see that wasn't the case. 

 

You are a survivor and a fighter. Don't forget that. People have different views on where the lines blur from justice to vengeance so try not to let others opinions get to you. As long as you can look yourself in the mirror each day and are proud of who you are that's all that matters.

 

Also please remember the ROC denial process is extremely slow and very long overall. Don't expect anything quick. Of course he can leave the US and surrender his status but if he chooses to fight for it, it can be years before it gets to a judge who would remove it.

I still think that fighting for the ex to be denied/deported/whatever is counterproductive. The $900/month child support will stop immediately if/when OP is successful in that fight.
