Hey guys,

I’m new here and don’t know how to upload a separate topic- sorry in advance… I don’t see where I can do it.😥

but I wanted to know if requesting an expedite will “put me back into the end of the line” if it gets denied? I know there’s no really “line” but does it hurt to try to expedite? Please let me know thank you 🙏🏾

Hey VJ’rs  I wanted to know if requesting an expedite will “put me back into the end of the line” if it gets denied? I know there’s no really “line” but does it hurt to try to expedite? Please let me know thank you 🙏🏾

also on average how long does it take to get an interview from being DQ’d ? I feel like I’ve been waiting forever!! - almost 2 years in ACC, 🇬🇭

what are your experiences? I’d love to hear especially my fellows from Ghana. Thank you

If there is any delay it is minuscule so always with having a go

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

ur timeline says applied 2/24/202 (very end of February ) and it went to NVC in May 2020 and all fees paid

ur case already has moved faster than most cases and u r just in line now with all from your embassy for an interview date

when ur turn comes,  you'll get there but some are still waiting that had a 2020 interview scheduled

u may feel this is forever  / just imagine how some others feel

Hello, if I were you I would have the petitioner write a letter to their Congress representative. They are often more sympathetic to issues that do not typically meet the criteria for an expedited case. You can google more info about that and get sample letters. Best of luck

We’ve been DQ’d since November 2020 still nothing 😔

☹️ I feel you’re pain, but at least we know that we aren’t the only ones facing this. I hope very soon we get the response we’re looking for

Thank you very much for this info.

I’ve heard some mention about this. Since there are so many representatives how do I choose the right one to send my letter to?

thank you

I assume you are the petitioner? Google the Congress Representative website, put in your zip code and it will tell you your rep. Some Representatives do not allow you to email directly from your email account, they have a portal on their website with an email form so have your letter ready so you can copy and paste it into their form.  There is also a website to search your senator you can also google that. I wrote to my House Representstive, I can't be sure if it helped or not, but our dates are close to yours, but we were doing fiance visa. His visa was issed lastweek and we are waiting for DHL delivery now so we can pick it up. There are other people who wrote to their Rep and it helped for sure!
