Please, members anyone one with an idea of where and how to reopen my case at the Ghana consulate office? I was refused a visa in 2018 based on public charge. INA 212(a)4(a).

The note that was handed to be after the interview only points me to the law. No direction as to how I can file an additional document if appropriate.
I need an answer as to whether I need put  together the affidavit of support again and send to the embassy.

Now that I have a sponsor… I don’t know which channel to submit ma documents to. I’m thinking like, does the embassy need to give me the green light to submit my documents to dhl or I can go there and do that ma self without any letter from the embassy.

you have to re-apply

Wow!! I can’t imagine the hustle now. Meaning I shouldn’t have waited this long.
I didn’t have any knowledge then on what to do. And I had lost my password to this site of information. But is the process and length time the same??

You're the beneficiary correct?

What about your partner, the petitioner? They should also have the information.

You shouldn't be doing this alone.

But I remember day said the immigrant visas does not expire

s there something I can do about a refusal under section 221(g)?

If your application was denied because documentation or information is missing, you can provide the missing documents or information as soon as possible. After submitting the documentation, your visa application can then be processed to conclusion to determine whether you qualify for a visa. You have one year from the date you were refused a visa to submit the additional information. Otherwise, if you do not provide the required additional information within one year, you must reapply for the visa and pay another application fee.

Looks like your USC spouse needs to file another I-130.

Petitioner can file an I-824 to get the petition back to the NVC.  A new DS260 will be required.
